Very saucy. Almost too much sauce. I prefer a pizza with more sauce than not enough. Semi sweet sauce. Great pepperoni and cheese. Dough crust cooked very well. I really enjoyed this pizza

We enjoyed our family style take out from adiamo! We have a half tray of chicken alfredo & half tray of spaghetti! Served 10 people with leftovers! They including garlic knots/rolls nice little bonus! Food was delish! I would definitely order again!

Pizza: Ordered cheese with double pepperoni. This is my preferred pizza in the north buffalo/Amherst area right now – beats out Bocce and Picasso’s for me. Cheese is savory, rich and very gooey. Sauce is in the background – not too sweet, a bit more acidic, and heavy on the oregano. The sauce helps to cut through the grease. The pepperoni is top notch, with awesome cup & char, crispy edges and a decent amount of spice. The standout component is the dough though; it actually tastes like a nice crusty loaf of bread, thicker but light and fluffy so it’s not heavy at all. I actually like that it’s not covered to the edge so I can enjoy a bit of the great dough on it’s own.

Pasta: I ordered the Penne Toscana. One of the best pastas I’ve had in years! The pasta itself has a great texture, it’s tender but has a chewiness to it that I’ve never had before in penne. I believe it’s fresh pasta, not dried, which would explain the great texture. The sauce was creamy and flavorful- you could taste the bell peppers in the sauce, but it was smooth so they must have blended it (maybe a good way to hide vegetables?). The chicken was nicely charred and juicy.

Also I grabbed a slice of the tiramisu that was sitting in the display on a whim. It was a bit frozen but I let it warm up and it was so, so good.

Update November 2023:
It is with a heavy heart I must update my review. The Tiramisu is still good, but something has gone wrong with the pizza. My latest photo is of a double pepperoni pizza with pineapple. Compare that photo with the double pepperoni pizza from 3 years ago. I don’t know if the chef changed or they are cutting back, but the pepperoni is far inferior compared to before and the quantity is severely lacking. This is not a BAD pizza, but it’s just not a stellar one like before. Now this is just an average to below average Buffalo pizza.

Heard of this place through a friend. We ordered the Sinful Chicken (extra chicken) and garlic rolls.
I really want to know what that Chicken did to sin so much because it so delicious. Wish the garlic rolls came with marinara sauce but was happy to live without it. Will be living off of this pasta for the next few days, as the portions are huge.
Would rather take the extra drive, rather than spending 80+ on similar plates around the corner to our house.

Is there anywhere in Buffalo that actually makes a good calzone??? I really miss my days of work assignments over in Long Island, NY, where pizza and calzones are actually an enjoyable meal!
At least it’s the way a calzone should be made and doesn’t have raw dough inside like the one I experienced last night from The Italian Village, but the bottom is burnt! Not the enjoyable calzone I was expecting to experience. Ooohhhh well! Maybe I will just stick to having dinner at the Yelling Goat when I am in Buffalo, NY area for work assignments! The Yelling Goat has consistently good food.

The gnocchi was ok but doesn’t even come close to the scratch made gnocchi at vault 647 or the billy club. based on the texture I couldnt have distinguished this from Wegmans fresh gnocchi in the refrigerated section. Very similar taste and texture. The sauce had a good flavor but a hint of a sweet aftertaste. Im hard pressed to believe that the sauce at this place is made with only fresh produce, (I highly suspect the tomatoes are from a can or at least they’re using tomato paste from a can, it just didn’t have the same taste or consistency as when a sauce is made from 100% fresh produce and herbs. People have different interpretations of “from scratch” but for me that means using only fresh produce and nothing from a can or jar) The pizza that was on display looked like something that you’d find in the crypt keepers mansion. Which would explain why it didn’t look like they had sold any, it looked about a week old and completely dried out. I was super excited to try the garlic knots and those were completely disappointing! bland and flavorless, both my friend and I took a bite and just spit them out and said it’s not even worth the calories. The texture of the bread was soft but it was just completely flavorless, it appeared to have some type of oil brushed on it with minced garlic, but again I presume it was garlic from a container and not minced from fresh cloves. it was just utterly bland. Perhaps if they had used salted butter on top of the knots with fresh garlic, it would have added a little more flavor. Also, the door was propped open so there was a bee that was flying in and out, it wasn’t bothering anybody but the two teen girls working at the register were focused on killing it with an electrified swatter, not because they were allergic, but because they were “scared” of bees, that was very upsetting to see since protecting bees is especially important. Definitely not a place I would go back to. If you want scratch made gnocchi thats amazing, with incredibly soft pillowy texture, try the vault 647 or the billy club. If you want mediocre pasta and flavorless garlic bread this is the place for you.

Great quality takeout food, especially the wings. A local go-to for small party dinners.
They do have out-of-date prices online however, and prices/deals have been inconsistently applied.

Absolutely excellent. This is the best Italian food in the area. They have so many family style choices for take out. Great for last minute people are coming over “what do we make” kind of nights. Quality is excellent, there is no atmosphere because it is a take out only place. It is very quick in regards to the size of the meals. We come here frequently.

My fiance ordered a chicken parm sub, lasagna, and cannolis for us. The sub was not good at all, the lasagna is in a very sweet sauce, so it depends on if you like that or not, and the cannolis came completely melted. I’m honestly not sure how any staff member at this restaurant can put cannolis in a takeout container for someone that look like that. They were inedible.

We got penne Tuscano. It was SO GOOD! We tried the roll that came with it and had to go back for more. It was homemade and authentic. It was so flavorful. The chicken was fresh and tender and seasoned beautifully. I’m really looking forward to my next trip there. I think I’ll try the Alfredo next time
