Great food and staff at this Ritz Carlton bistro. It was a perfect find right around the corner from the Opera House where we we’re seeing a show that night. My table had a Bolognese, Caesar salad, short ribs, and the chicken dish- all fabulous – highly recommend their cocktails and dessert as well.

We came here for an early lunch before the Nut Cracker at the Opera House. We were one of the first tables to be sat for the lunch service. We told our waitress that we were seeing a show at 3, it was 12:45. She said we had plenty of time. We ordered drinks, starters, our mains, and the dessert all at the same time. Our drinks and starters arrived on time. And then we waited and waited. Multiple parties had been sat, served, and checked out. Our waitress completely forgot about our table it turns out. Not only did she not put our order in but she never checked in with us. We finally asked to speak with the restaurant manager. He offered to comp our meals but said due to timing we may not have time to eat. We explained we needed to eat something given we had already had a few drinks. Our meals arrive, mine was hastily thrown together, it was the Croque Monsieur. My husband’s steak was cold. The pumpkin salad was decent. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Stopped by the Artisan Bistro for some takeout to the room. I had an amazing experience both at the bar area while waiting for the food and with the taste and quality of the meals brought back as well. We couldn’t recommend this establishment highly enough. Both the food and service were welcoming and fantastic, and the pastries were out of this world!

Melissa at the hostess desk is the BEST. We called last min for a reservation for brunch day of Nutcracker and they couldn’t accommodate. She called us back and said she could fit us at the time we needed, separating the tables in 4 and 2. When we arrived she sat us all together. Food and service was great, Noelle was our server. Walk right around the corner to Boston Opera House. Beautiful decor and so festive! Thanks!

* Location/Time: Conveniently located near the theaters, this restaurant provides a great dining option before the show. It took us 1:15 mins for a 3-course dining with prix fixe menu in case you need to plan your time.
*Food: We were happy with our food choices – see pictures with caption below. Duck confit was my favorite (also good size portion). Brussel sprouts did look a bit burnt but were actually ok.
*Wine: They dont have French wine by the glass on the menu if that matters to you.
*Service: The service was quick and our waiter Eugene was very attentive.
*Kids: Kids friendly and provide a little coloring page. The restaurant is connected with the hotel lobby so if you need a little “exploration” walk with your toddler while waiting for the food to come out – you have that extra space to explore.

Food and service were good, though I was charged more for the burger than was listed on the freshly printed paper menu. Quiet dining room. The onion soup wasn’t what I expected; it was creamy and had parmesan Reggiano. I would order it again.

No flavor to the lobster with pasta, and all claw pieces. Dessert was frozen on a cold plate…just because this restaurant is attached to the Ritz doesn’t mean the food is good. On the positive side, the waitress and staff were great. Just didn’t want to burden my waitress with complaints.

I had breakfast in Artizian Bistro at Ritz Carlton Hotel and I must say that the food was really good. We ordered avocado toast, omelet, and Belgian waffles, and all of them were good. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and the service is good, but there is room for improvement in terms of attention.
The only thing that could have been better was the crispiness of my Belgian waffles. Overall, it was a great experience.

Fantastic attentive waitstaff at this bistro. The mussels were fantastic. The red cherry tomatoes were delicious and also the mussel too. The sour dough bread was good too. The truffle fries were made for 2-4 people. They were garlicky good.
