We’ve heard about Phil’s for for years, but never tried it. Usually we go to Jolly Roger’s across the street when in the area, but we wanted to try something different. We had super friendly service from our waiter, Patrick, and awesome sandwiches. We had Phil’s special (ground sirloin with grilled mushrooms and onions, provolone cheese, on Italian bread) and the meatball sandwich (meatballs, sauce, provolone on Italian bread). The meatball sandwich didn’t come with fries, but there were enough served with the Phil’s sandwich, we just split them. It’s a little dark and dated inside, but it felt homey. We will definitely come back.

Been going to Phil’s Inn since 1980, always had the best spaghetti sauce and lines out the door. Last few years empty patio, inside decor went down hill, and dirty and worn out. So I have been getting my fix with sauce to go. Bought sauce yesterday and it is watered down. Guess all good things come to an end.

Great Chicken Parmesan! Building could use a remodeling inside and out but it is a great place to eat. The May Flies might make you want to turn the other way. Phil’s Inn should invest in a leaf blower to clear them away when in season.

Visited Phil’s for lunch on Oct 19, 2017. Had lasagna with extra sauce and enjoyed it and my wife was quite happy with her pasta and meatballs. The service was very good and friendly, bread plentiful, salad generous and my drink just right. As a former local I was dismayed when I heard that Phil’s had slipped but our visit proved that wrong and I found it as good as I remember. Always loved their tomato sauce.

Terrible! The food, the waitress, and the place were terrible. There were 6 people there. The waitress, Robin, was loud and put out to take our order. The place was run down, sticky, and dirty. The food, oh my God, the food. It was terrible. The bread was cold, salads were warm, and the sauce was bland. Ketchup has more flavor. Don’t go here. It is not worth the money or your time.

I have visited this place since the 60’s. Ate here many times during the 70’s, so I was excited to go back and visit as an adult. The mold and mildew smell in the filthy carpet made it hard to eat. The bread was wonderful, the salad has never been good, my dad complained about the salad in the seventies and that has not changed. The sauce has a burnt, overly spicy taste. The perch sandwich was good. So disappointed. I would had rather they did not put carpet down and stick to the tile floors they had in the 70’s. At least you can mop them. That carpet hasn’t been cleaned in years. I am with the other reviewers, where is the health department?

Service was great, nice young lady. And I even appreciate the dated decor. I ordered the chicken parm and my boyfriend ordered the ravioli/spaghetti combo.. chicken is chicken, the pork stuffed ravioli was good. However this was worst sauce I have ever eaten, simply looked and tasted like tomato paste with very few spices. Any time I go to a new place I like to eat at local this restaurants. This was my 1st trip to this area so my boyfriend (not is frist time to the area) agreed to give this place a chance. I am sorry I suggested it. We were very disappointed.

The pizza and the water is just about the best thing they serve. The salad was overdone with dressing and you cant ask for dressing on the side. The bread tastes like the kind you get at the dollar store. The meatball sandwich my husband got wasnt even meatballs. It was ground beef slapped on two pieces of bread. Absolutely no shape for the meatballs. The soup tasted like it was straight out of a can and was absolutely disgusting, said my mother. And lastly, the fries tastes like the host you get at communion in church. Overall our dinner was mediocre. Don’t come here. The McDonald’s is way better.

We stopped here on our road trip across America, and Amy our server was just fantastic. The homemade creamy pepper dressing was superb and both my sisters (Chicken Parm), and my Lasagna was delectable! I only wish I could have fit more food in my belly.

If I could give zero stars I would I took my fiancé and her grandfather out for lunch here and it had to be the absolute worst food I’ve ever had. The French fries were frozen and put in a oven. I ordered a SIRLOIN STEAK and I got a burger patty slapped on a plate. The mashed potatoes were obviously not made fresh and the gravy was from a can if you don’t wanna get sick from the food don’t come here. This place use to be the buzz of the town now it’s a wonder how they are still open
