Service was great, food was great! My wife and I agreed, it was the best burgers we have ever eaten! Lots of food for the money too, we had to take some home. Robert our server was amazing! Never an empty glass, he even got us to go drinks! I recommend making a reservation online, we did for 4:00PM. When we were on the way out people were waiting for tables and the parking lot was just about full. All in all, ten out of ten, highly recommend!

We’ve been to Pigeon Forge so many times and due to it’s popularity, we’ve not been able to eat here. This time, we made a reservation, which went very smoothly. Overall, excellent experience with food, atmosphere, and service. The team members at the hostess station were not overly welcoming. Our server had great recommendations and the food was great!! We ordered steak nachos and the TN Whiskey burger with Gouda with garlic aioli! It was amazing! This has to be one of the best burgers and fries I’ve had anywhere! Highly recommend! They have a very robust beer and draft selection, that I understand is phenomenal (I’m not an expert in this, but from friends reviews).
Definitely worth eating here, and recommend reservations.

With so many tourists traps in the area we were searching for good authentic food, and we definitely found it at Local Goat. The staff was very welcoming when we walked in, and our server, Francisco, was top tier and knew all about the food options. The huge onion rings and ranch dressing were a perfect appetizer. The creole pasta was recommended, and I could not have been more pleased with it. I was blown away at how much flavor it had, as well as how much shrimp and sausage it had. My wife got the burger, and it was top 3 I’ve had in years. When we go back to Pigeon Forge we will definitely be stopping by Local Goat.

Here’s a place to take friends and family that has lots of choices for most anybody, even the kids. The service is friendly and helpful. The Goat’s reputation is one of the best and there’s no dress code except casual and comfortable. And that describes the food also, tasty yet not especially elite.

Give them credit for making everything fresh using a secret blend of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. That’s why they are totally the Tennessee friendly – “Local Goat”.

My party of eight enjoyed themselves and if you love gourmet burgers, they offer a million creative choices, like the Elvis, the Patriot, the Pimento Cheeseburger, the Farmhouse (with an egg on it) and even a Lamb Burger. All mostly served with fries.

There’s some great starters from deep fried deviled eggs to spinach artichoke dip, bbq shrimp, and nachos. Try their 8 piece jumbo chicken wings menu, and great variety of salads and soups.

A bunch of “Local” picks include Chicken Tenders, Fish n’ Chips, Flame grilled Steaks and Ribs, to Teriyaki Filet Kabobs, Bison Meatloaf, Maui Chicken, Boneless Pork Chops, Crab Cakes, Shrimp choices and Flamed-Grilled Salmon.

Lots of sides too and a bunch of yummy Desserts to send you home with a smile.

Absolutely FABULOUS service AND food. Got their famous cheese fondue. Hubby ordered their homemade (battered) Fish and (fresh cut) fries. I ordered the Rocco Chicken Alfredo (without bacon) Fantastic, both entrées. This is our second visit. Natalie was our server and she was phenomenal. Great attention to detail and service. Great English accent! Very, very friendly.

Would’ve gotten 5 stars if we hadn’t gotten dessert.
The starters were great, recommend the bbq shrimp! Our food was great as well, amazing burgers!! The pork chop was said to be good as well.
Everything was amazing, so we saved room for dessert…. and it was all a let down. The molten lava cake was not lava at all, just dense. The creme brule was thick thick thick and wasn’t creamy at all. Sugar tasted burnt not toasted.
Peanut butter pie was okay.

Jace was our server and this place was great from beginning to when we waddled out! My husband has a friend at work who said we needed to try this place and gave him some birthday money so we could eat here. The steak nachos are absolutely FANTASTIC and the serving is huge. They drizzle balsamic sauce over it and it was sooo yummy! My husband got the burger with mushrooms, onions, and garlic aoli. We both had fries as a side. I had the center cut sirloin w whipped sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes….well I could totally imagine them made as a pie. Sooo good! We had lava cake for dessert and it was very rich. The ketchup, buns, in fact all items are homemade and the meat is never frozen. Jace did a great job and the rest of the staff were equally as friendly!

It wouldn’t be a trip to the smoky mountains without a stop at the local goat. The food is always the best! This time I had a steak, mashed potatoes and a salad with a cocktail. It was the perfect way to celebrate my 46th birthday. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great overall experience at The Local GOAT .

Sweet tea was a miss — too watery (3/10).

Hawaiian ribeye had good flavor and was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the glaze became a little overwhelming about halfway through (7.3/10).

Cheese grits were outstanding (10/10).
Onion mashed potatoes were also excellent (10/10).

Crème brûlée was decent but probably wouldn’t order it again (6/10).

My server, Jace T, was friendly and attentive

Would definitely come back.

A very pleasant surprise for a $$ experience.
The Tennessee whiskey burger priced at $18 made me think this was going to be the usual expensive small burger for a ridiculous price.
The food here though is AMAZING, almost everything is made from scratch, the burgers are HUGE, and the side of fries was very large as well. This is the first time I’ve been to a nicer “premium” price restaurant and felt that I got more than my money’s worth.
I can’t recommend this place more, if you love American food and have $20 it is a must go in the area
