Stopped in last night. Hadn’t been here in many years. Loved the ambiance of a neighborhood bar, which are becoming fewer and fewer. Sarah was a great bartender. Enjoyable talking with her and she makes an excellent drink. Looking forward to returning soon.

Quaint quiet and cute. Food was okay for a cute hole in the wall.

10 nurses including myself, went after work to relax and take a load off and we had a Very bad experience, poor hospitality and very racist.. Mind you there were only 2 people in there so you would think that they’d be grateful for customers but no, they were very unhappy and uncomfortable and you could feel the bad energy in there. Also If you’re going to listen to music this is not the place, not only do you have to pay the jukebox but they refused to turn the volume up enough that we could listen to it , food was nasty & previously heated in the microwave so it was like eating rubber bands, and Pool table was shut down upon our arrival. If you are not white you are not right.. So we decided to take our money somewhere else.. Never Againnnn it was horrible..

How many neighborhood bars have you been to? How many of those places are welcoming if you’ve been there once, ten or a hundred times? With good, incredibly cheap food AND a pool table? And you can do your laundry next door! With a personable, caring owner who is there day in and day out? This is the epitome of a neighborhood bar. The jukebox is great as well! Don’t let the appearance fool you, this is one of the greatest spots you will find in the Reading area.

I am happy we tried this place. Regulars were friendly, and Frank is awesome. Stop by and support this bar. We will be making this our hometown bar.

Bartender was nice. I felt bad for her it can’t be easy working for an owner who truly has some very serious issues..especially with females.
It’s a locals bar which is fine but if you’re not a local don’t waste your time at this place. You won’t be missing anything. It’s very small with low ceilings and the stale odor of cigarettes is pretty bad. Smoking is permitted. The food prices are very cheap but so is the food.

I had read several reviews for this location and I was looking forward to trying the lobster special for my self. There were six in my party and as we waited for everyone we had a drink at the bar. The place was really small with maybe 7-9 tables tops. At 5:00 when we got there all the tables were filled with mostly senior couples who even after eating and chatting awhile, did not seem to inclined to let someone else have a meal. Not sure how they would have even sat us. The waitress/bartenders were both very friendly though they kept asking if we were staying to eat. When our 6th showed up and we decided to go somewhere else, there were still the same people eating that were there at 5 so I don’t know how they would have sat us. They were very disappointed that we left, though it appears that they have a loyal clientel that goes each week for the special. I will try it again when it’s just myself and another. One thing that upset me was the single diet Coke I didn’t even want was priced at $3.00. Glad I wasn’t thirsty because I hear they charge the same for a glass of water. Think this was a little crazy.
