Wonderful little spot in Hell’s Kitchen- great for a pre-show dinner slightly away from Times Square. The service was excellent- our waiter was very friendly, and gave great recommendations. The eggplant appetizer was delicious!! My gnocchi was interesting and good. We had the hot chocolate cake for dessert which was good as well. It’s a small place but loved the decor and homey feeling. Definitely recommend!

Just the kind of neighborhood place you hope to find in New York for an intimate, cozy and delectable dinner. Four of us shared 2 very tasty appetizers: one with ricotta cheese and pears, and the other with incomparable meatballs. Mains included delicious chicken in a white pistachio sauce, and several yummy dishes based on Cesare’s homemade pasta. We accompanied these with a great house red. Dessert was a tasty almond cake, melt-in-your-mouth tiramisu, and good coffee. Chef Cesare was on hand to chat and offer his suggestions. A memorable night.

This place is cozy and the mood is perfect for a nice meal with the one you love. The chef is amazing and the carbonara is absolutely wonderful. The cheesecake dish that they dreamed up through me for a loop because it isn’t anything close to traditional, but I was shocked by how tasty it was. My Love order the Fresh Funghi, and it was also great!

The folks who run it are super nice and took great care of us.

I’ll be coming back to Foodance next time we visit NYC!

We had a wonderful time at the Foodance restaurant! We arrived at 5pm and we were the first there. The cocktails were delicious, between us we tried 3 different ones and they were all great, especially the amaretto sour! The food was exceptional, I love my pasta and the fresh pasta was great! The waitor bought around the pudding selection and we couldn’t say no! As we were leaving, it was getting busy and there was a show on at 9pm which we missed! I can only imagine how brilliant the atmosphere would have gotten. It’d a hidden gem and would 100% recommend giving it a visit!

The service was amazing. Waiter was so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The food choices were phenomenal. Eggplant special was so good my teenager ate it! Thr carbonara pasta was full of flavor. The lasagna was delicious as well. The pistachio chicken special was tender and juicy. He came out with a platter of desserts and we picked the lava cake. He was so nice and brought it out with a candle and sang happy birthday to my teenager. Wine was devine and the Elizabeth cocktail so delicious. I would definitely recommend this place based on the amazing service and the delicious food.

When you find an authentic Italian restaurant like this, you know you’ve struck gold. First, we ordered the Simona salad to share. It’s basically a spinoff of the traditional caprese, but in salad form and with red onions, olive, and sardines. It came with warm bread and was the best! The warm bread was also the best! Bolognese and carbonara followed and again, authentic and the best!!! The atmosphere was beautiful as well. Loved the LGBTQ decor and vibe. Definitely seemed like a good old fashioned Italian pop and pop spot.

What a delightful evening! I came to dinner on a recent trip and was blown away by the experience. It’s a charming intimate space and my server was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the pasta with Branzino and it was cooked to perfection! The fish was light and flaky and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The true highlight of the evening was the gorgeous singing. The young man who sang that night, Pasqualino, along with a live pianist was incredible! His voice is gorgeous and I loved the Italian songs he sang. Enjoying live music with a glass of wine and delicious dinner was a genuine treat. I cannot recommend this spot enough.

I want to eat here every night! Me and my family ate here on Christmas Eve, and the food was delicious. I personally had the meatballs, bolognese, and sunset mocktail. All three were delicious. Our waiter and the owner were super nice too. The owner greeted us when we sat down and told us the specials. Our waiter went above and beyond. He brought out a whole tray of desert selections and was always excited to say hi. I don’t want to eat anywhere else but at this wonderful welcoming resturant.
