I ordered the half rack of ribs and 2 sides for $ 15. I opted for the potato salad and the baked beans. Both were really good and seemed fresh.I did like the ribs, but they didn’t seem fresh, but they were good.
The pork belly came on a stick, which was really a great idea. And it was cooked well.The fat was a little rubbery, which I think came from being reheated, but the flavor was spot on.
I would try this place again. I went during the weekday. I’d probably go during the weekend when they’re busier and the food would be fresher

The best fall of the bone ribs on Catawba Island! We took advantage of their call ahead ordering option, as they’re normally pretty busy. Parking is limited, but located behind the food truck (don’t pull into the SkipperBud’s parking lot).

I am so thankful for this place.. Best food on Catawba. Not only ribs/pulled pork/brisket/chicken but the beef and noodles is killer. Saturday prime rib is my favorite but you better order early because they will run out.. 10 outta 10 every time. Other reviews say ice cream??? No. These BBQ folks are on 53N just past Midway. BBQ

Sorry to see this location is closed for the season. I would take the 50 minute ride back for their ribs. Can’t wait for next year .. good , slow smoked ribs and brisket.

Love this food truck! Everything is delicious! Favorites include the brisket sandwich, smoked bologna sandwich, the pork belly slice, and the fresh cut, fair fries! Get there before Sept 3rd! You won’t be disappointed!
