My kids and I went to daylight donut this morning to try to start our day out on the right foot and I wanted to treat my kids. I have never gone into the donut shop and been able to say exactly what the name of each donut was my kids have always pointed at which donut they want and that’s always been fine for some reason today whenever I went into the donut shop and my children pointed out a doughnut because I could not name the doughnut the lady behind the counter became very disrespectful, asking what it was called what it was called and then whenever I showed her and describe the donut to her, she said what it was called and then demanded to know what else what else what else without giving a second for my kids to even respond she asked if I wanted my items back separately to which I responded yes, and then she proceeded to dump everything in one bag without separating it. She obviously could not handle the morning rush and started taking it out on the customers I do not recommend going back if she is still working on a sidenote there was someone training today and she was very lovely. She’s gonna learn the wrong ways to do things so if whoever that was train her on anything.

I have been a customer for years and new owners took over. Everything is of less, less filling in bear Claus, mess in pastries filling and you got the picture. Only thing that is More is cost of products.

Got donut holes (AKA munchkins,) a Bavarian Cream filled Long-John, & an order of biscuits & gravy. Everything was delicious! The store was clean & has a nice little area to sit. They are always friendly & helpful. I love stopping in on my way to work. It’s always a bright spot on my day.

It was the first time visiting for my husband and I and the staff did an excellent job.
We went there and had filled donuts and we were really surprised that they fill them right then and there. I would definitely suggest a jelly-filled but my husband preferred the marshmallow filling.
We will definitely have to go back and try some other donuts, as well as they all, looked too delicious.

I was sad to see it close and filled with so much joy when they reopened. Although it might not be as good it’s still the best doughnut place in Harrison, if not the entirety of Boone County. I am a frequent customer and the line is quite obvious that I’m not the only one. I don’t mind the line because I know once I’m at the front I’m getting the best doughnuts I’ll ever eat.

As a transplant, originally from a small town in Nebraska. I was SO excited when I saw Daylight Donuts. The Daylight in Elkhorn closed while I was in the military and to be honest nothing quite compared to that perfect glazed from Daylight. My daughter and I popped in to try a few donuts and I found myself cautiously optimistic. One bite and it was like being teleported back to high school. All those mornings daylight blessed our taste buds in home room. I am SO happy to have tried Daylight that morning. To think I actually got used to Krispy Kreme… I am slightly disappointed in myself.
