He explained all the dishes and treated me very well for it being my first time trying sushi and authentic Japanese food. I would recommend this place highly. The chef omakase is 144$ per person so it’s kinda pricey but worth it if you can I will be coming by back here my next time in San Francisco.
Tried $150 course, well spend.
Flavors are balanced and the service is impeccable.
We all fell in love with the Toro sushi, and the pear sorbet is amazing!
A big plus for the beautiful china, decorations were delicate and nice.
ご馳走様でした!
The Chef’s omakase is the way to go here. It’s an 8 course meal – it came with a few appetizer dishes ahead of the nigiri, including a few slices of sashimi, a chawanmushi, and miso marinated black cod, ahead of 7 amazing chef-choice cuts of nigiri. Check out the pictures to see how fresh each of these pieces of nigiri and sashimi are. It also came with a nice little strawberry and chocolate mochi dessert at the end.
An is a hidden gem in SF where there are so many options. This one is very affordable and the chefs explained each dish perfectly. Would highly recommend An!
