I stopped by Brass and Rocker at 29 Palms for Wing Wednesday, and I was impressed! They have a good variety of wing flavors to choose from—we went with garlic, naked, and hot. All were delicious! They also have a huge selection of beers to pair with your wings. The crowd was lively, and the service was even better. I’ve been here before when service was slow, but today, they were on point! The place has a pool table and darts, so there’s plenty to do while you hang out. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

The O Club’s glory days are long gone and so has the service and food. The staff were busy talking to regulars instead of helping another guy and me. It took the regulars to see us waiting for the staff to get our orders. They had the wrong menus out and one of the servers kept telling everyone to look at the menu on top of the bar but it had Wed/Thurs specials only which confused everyone. One of the regulars had to get a manager to bring regular menus.
I ordered fish tacos and I ate one and a half (comes with three) because of how fishy the fish was. A server came by and asked how they were and I gave her feedback and she just said, “oh, ok” and walked away.
This place used to get packed back in 2011-2015 and the service and food was great. Now they made it into a Staff and Officer Club, and overall the place has gone down.
