Buvons is a neighborhood wine bar and restaurant in Long Beach centered on seasonal food, small-production wines, and thoughtful hospitality.
The menu draws from French bistro cooking and California’s farmers markets, changing often with what’s fresh and inspiring in the kitchen. Wines are chosen with care — many from small producers in France — and presented in a way that invites curiosity, conversation, and learning at the table.
The space is relaxed and inviting, with a cozy patio and a lively dining room. On select nights, we host tastings, special dinners, DJs, or live music. Buvons is a place to slow down, eat well, and leave having discovered something new.

The atmosphere and service were absolutely top-tier. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming, attentive, and effortlessly cool. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about the experience.
What really made the night special was the live DJ—spinning soulful music that truly set the tone and added that extra touch. The music wasn’t just background noise, it elevated the entire vibe and made the space feel alive! I highly recommend bringing friends, family and or a date!

600 bottles of wine in the connected shop to consider with our meal in this venue with a small menu that was changing with the season. We decided to go with Luna, our server to the wine shop to consider our wine options. She was superior in her description of wines and characteristics of what we were considering. Our party had a cheese board, shared the mussels and bread, steak frites, and pork belly over polenta, and roasted beets. Two of us at the Thousand Gods Pinot Noir Marlborough New Zealand wine with our entree which was such a nice complement to our meal. The food was excellent without exception and right size portions, and we had warm, responsive service from Luna. The only cons were the wooden chairs were rickety and uncomfortable. Would recommend this out of the way jewel.

Buvons… your one stop shop to France. From Natural wine to fancy caviar and amazing ambience. Bonus to the staff. They got you covered from Champagne to Burgundy to Austria. After 17h I consider it a Brassiere with all the classics. You wont regret it. Santé!

Delightful pocket where you feel you are in a different world with great food and wine. They had 5 wines for happy hour. Loved the basil ice cream with strawberry cheesecake! The panisse was delicious as well. The tomatoes, basil and feta were so fresh. Definitely have to return. Loved sitting in the back.

Found this place by accident, it’s a jewel in LBC. LOVE this place and it will be my go too for a while, I feel like I’m in Europe.
The wines are excellent and the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly which is highly important (customer service), the place was packed and they were only taking people w/reservations, but they were very accommodating and found a table for me and my friend.
They had a lovely Jazz band playing and we loved it!
(Only suggestion is that if it’s too loud for someone, maybe sit further away from the band as it’s hard to hear if you are going there to have long conversations)

Outstanding experience! Tried beer wine for the first time. The May menu was delish – pork belly, lamb ravioli, olive oil cake – everything was perfect. We will be back soon. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
(we ate the food before we had a chance to take photos; it was that good!)

Nice neighborhood wine shop/bar with occasional pop up food vendors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visited before to pick-up bottles of wine. came last week for a Korean food pop-up. Had a nice glass of vermouth to go with the Korean food.
Will definitely be coming back for snacks off their menu soon.
