Food was excellent — an easy 5 stars. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot, just as expected from a well-run steakhouse.

Service gets 3 stars. Our waitress was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and doing her best to give us a great dining experience. It was clear she was still learning, which is completely understandable for a brand-new location. The staff was doing their best despite several items being out of stock, likely due to holiday demand and early rushes at this recently opened spot.

Atmosphere:
Comfortable, clean, and inviting. The atmosphere was Class M, with the standard breathable mix of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 0.9 percent argon, 0.04 percent carbon dioxide, trace gases — and the unmistakable aroma of sizzling steak in the air.

So Blessed
I can see why this new restaurant is packed every day. We waited about 30 minutes at lunch time, but the set up for the wait list is updated often and you can get on the wait list prior to getting to the restaurant. From the check in staff, to the servers, and wait staff and of course the grill masters were professional and friendly.

Our drinks, bread, appetizers and salads came out quickly. The main entrée came out within a reasonable time for how many patrons were there.

We got the tonion (great seasoning and dipping sauce), the porterhouse was well done and delicious. The ribeye was done to medium perfection.

I would definitely go there again for a special occasion. All around a good experience.

If there is any question in your mind of where you should eat i would definitely recommend it be here. It was my wife and I’s first date in several years because we bought a house. the wait staff Were so attentive and kind during our visit. The food was so amazing. And what was even more impressive is you could tell that it wasn’t just done special for us but it is the way they do business in general. It appeared as if every customer received the highest quality service.

Yesterday, a friend and I were in Longhorn in LaValle, great food great service, my friend had a medical condition, the staff was extremely helpful, assisting in anyway they could, they were very concerned and definitely helpful, he didn’t need ,medical treatment, but was in a very confused state,after passing out in our booth, after we had finished eating, it was nothing to do with the food or anything at the restaurant, the manager sat with us, offering anything we needed and assistance, with a damp towel until my friend was able to get up and go, he never had another indecent the rest of the day, the manager gave us his card and ask if we would please call him when we got ,which my friend did. Thank you, all the employees that were so thoughtful ,kind, and definitely concerned about this ,we appreciate all you did .great job all you Longhorn staff ,Thanks ,we will be back, probably alot ,fantastic place .I give them 5 stars for everything

I can’t leave a review for food because it’s a 15 minute wait time just to sit down… Literally pulled into their parking because it’s virtually empty and figured a good chance to get in and eat, but then you get hit with the “it’s going to be 15min for you table”…. It is literally just me and my daughter and you mean to tell me they can’t handle that…. Seems to be a trend in this area… We get restaurants that are well known for being good, but then they come here and no to crab…. What is literally the excuse for a 15 minute table wait for two people when the parking lot is empty enough I can pretty much get parking anywhere I want… Apparently that’s too much to handle for the Long Horn staff…..

Stopped by the restaurant with my daughter over this past weekend, and while we have usually had an excellent experience, the quality of service has clearly started to decline.

We arrived later in the evening, shortly after the dinner rush, but the lobby was still full of hungry, frustrated customers. But that didn’t stop the hostesses from enjoying their meal in plain view at the host stand, which seemed a little disrespectful to the starving customers waiting nearby. At one point, a group walked up to the host stand while the hostess had her mouth so full that she couldn’t even greet them.

When we finally got to our table, we were taken care of by Bruce, who was terrific as always. However, somewhere along the line, the medium rare steak that I had ordered, arrived well done. When I pointed out this error, Bruce was quick to take it back and have it corrected. The lady who returned with the second steak, offered “I’m sorry this wasn’t to your standards” as what I assume was supposed to be an apology? I fail to see how an overcooked steak is in any way not up to “my” standards when I specifically requested medium rare.

Last but not least, the side of fruit that my daughter ordered with her meal was contaminated with a white residue, resulting in her throwing up in the middle of the night.

It seems to me that corporate needs to schedule a follow up visit to this location and re-educate the staff on the fundamentals of both customer service and food safety.
