Laurie’s Cafe is a hidden gem if you’re looking for an off the beaten path breakfast or lunch. The place is nothing fancy, which adds to its charm. The staff is friendly, the food is what you should expect in a small family owned Cafe. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the food is always good.

Food is inconsistent at best. Great prices compared to most but with a few questionable items. Today’s “special” for $9.95 was a Mexican taco with a scoop of ice cream??? Waitress is very off on most days… Today she dropped a dish towel on the floor and kicked it around a few times without picking it up. Stayed on the floor the entire half hour we were there.

I was in town because I needed to get my car registered and decided to stop at Lauries for lunch.
I had a burger and onion rings, and both were very tasty.
The service is fast and friendly.
I bet the breakfast here is awesome. I will have to come back one morning.
