I’m not sure if we both got bum pizzas or what, the flavor was there but the pizza was severely undercooked in the middle. Felt like I was eating pizza soup, would love to try again if I am in town again, but as of now I would not recommend this to spot! Took 30 minutes to get our pizza and no one else was in the restaurant, and it was still soggy and undercooked. Awesome staff! And awesome beer though!

I went to the soft opening of this pizza spot. It’s really good. The flavors are very apparent and come together so well. I had the hot honey and pepperoni. Normally I don’t like honey on pizza however the way they balanced the honey with the spice of the pepperoni was spot on. The sauce was the perfect amount of tomato chunks and sauce.
I love pizza. I am very critical of it too. This pizza is legit. I was told Smokestack flies the flour in from Italy. It shows. The crust is tasty and light. I’ll be coming back here many times. I’m glad we have a new pizza spot!! Plus it’s in the canal which is great for people watching.

Went last night to the grand opening – we LOVED the fun cocktails and food we tried! The focaccia seriously tastes like you’re in Europe..for sure the best I’ve had in Richmond. This would be the perfect date night: padel or pickleball followed by a drink and a Smokestack pizza or focaccia sandwich. Definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere, on canal and can watch people playing, covered shaded patio, amazing pizza. Say they are coming out with gluten free soon- I will be looking forward to it! Kids loved the pizza and the patio had lots of room for them to move around and play.

My parents, kids and I were visiting Richmond and found this place exploring the Canal Walk. I was the only person hungry, so I ordered one pie and asked my kids to hold it while I drove back to the hotel. They DEVOURED it. Super light and crispy crust, delicious sauce, perfectly crunchy pepperoni, and a hint of something delightfully sweet like honey. We also had a Caesar salad that was very fresh and yummy. Will definitely go back the next time we’re in town!
