The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the environment is a typical Country’s atmosphere. This is the only location remaining in Alabama and I have to drive an hour to get there, but it is well worth it.

Absolutely awful. No baby back ribs at 11 am. When that is the special of the day. No baked sweet potatoes. Food took 45 min to arrive. Everything COLD.. the wait staff standing around on their phones. Had to address manager over 1 waitress inappropriately dressed with shorts up her rear. Owner needs to shut down and hire new staff. Nothing but excuses from management on duty. Tables left dirty for an hour. Mind you the place was empty.

I recently attended the ribbon cutting for the new Country’s BBQ, and it’s absolutely beautiful! While I’ll miss the charm of the old building, the new location is stunning and perfectly decorated. They even brought over the iconic giant rocking chair from the original spot, which made it feel like home. The addition of a drive-through is a great touch for those days when you’re on the go but still craving their delicious BBQ. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, this place will not disappoint! Can’t wait to make more memories here!

Haven’t been to one of these in years, and I see why…very disappointing visit.
The pickles were good, everything else was average at best.
Waitress was friendly, and service was fast overall.
Food lacked flavor and was cut very odd to be bbq

We came in at 4pm on a thurs and there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. It took 10 mins for anyone to come to the door to seat us. The server was great and the food came out promptly. However, the food was terrible. The BBQ nachos were chips, dry tough pork, and half melted shredded cheese. The grilled chicken tenders were overcooked and the honey mustard was as thin as water and had a weird tang, I’m assuming it was bad. The brisket on the sandwich wasn’t bad, but the fries were cold and undercooked. The skillet apples and sweet potato were good. And apparently prebussing isn’t a thing here. Overall it isn’t worth the money, I won’t be back.

First visit to Auburn… unfortunately this place was about as mediocre for BBQ as I’ve had in a while.
The good-ish: The Texas Brisket was the highlight and was relatively tasty. It was a little dry, but the smoke flavor was good. Sweat tee was great!
Not so good: The Brunswick stew was unfortunately flavorless, cornbread was very dry and salad was a bit wilted and had pieces I had to remove.

Probably wouldn’t run back anytime soon… not saying I wouldn’t try it again, but it won’t be a priority for me.

VERY small portion of meats and VERY VERY DRY. I ordered 2 meats and 2 sides I got 3 quarter size pork tenderloin and 3 small slices of turkey all tiny all unbelievably dry. Like yesterday’s food. I told the manager upon departure and his resolution was next time when you come here again I’ll make sure it’s right. No refund or suggestion of that. I spent $70 for 1 adult & 4 kids for lunch. It’s not worth the risk.

It seems Country’s is not as good as it use to be. It takes awhile to get your food after you order. They don’t allow you if you wanted a child’s plate, you can not order that any more. The food seems to be not as good, and a lot of times they are out of some things. Some of the waitresses can be a little rushed, and don’t pay attention to what you ordered.

It was awesome from beginning until we left. They accommodated the small group we had. Our server was a 14 year old whom was very good at her job. I was asked were we having a party we had so much fun. The food was delicious

Tried the Friday special of turkey & dressing today, very good choice. The squash casserole is probably the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
