THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL! The owners are fantastic people and really pursue excellence in all they do. Their food is top tier offering soups, pastries, salads, paninis, breakfast, waffles and so much more. The atmosphere is perfect for having relaxed conversations or a nice meal. Today i stepped into Xela for the first time, I have been wanting to go for a while now, we were greeted with so much kindness and hospitality. The gentleman in the front was so kind to me, my daughter and our friend!! the place was warm and cozy, it really felt like home. My daughter ate EVERYTHING! To be fair, so did I. This is our new GO TO SPOT. Something different then what we have in the area.

Stopped in on the way back home to Houston and was pleasantly surprised. Great little place with plenty of comfy seating and several food selections. Food was really good and family seems very nice!

My first time visiting Xela Bistro. I was invited by my sweet friend. I had never heard of it..but soon as I walked in I absolutely loved it. So unique..cozy..and welcoming. The owners Francesca and Able are so wonderful. The vision they have for the food and connection is a Godsend blessing to the community ✨️ Our food was amazing and the atmosphere calming. I will definitely be back.

First visit was very impressive. The staff were welcoming and kind and the food is AMAZING . A must try for sure. I am well pleased the proximity to my house, it has a vast menu with different options. The host explains it in detail, the creative foods that’s as good as it sounds.

This place is a gem!! My friend and I had the best Sunday brunch experience!! They have only been open for almost couple of months and you have to stop in! Don’t expect a strickly traditional Guatemalan bakery, the name is a nod to the chefs heritage, but you can expect amazing food!

We came in after the morning brunch rush and had the place to ourselves so we got a secret off menu item that can be ordered on off hours when they aren’t packed for breakfast. They have a waffle flight. You heard that right!! Waffle FLIGHT! It was the highlight of my whole day! We also ordered a chicken wrap that was so good, I’m still thinking about it a couple of days later! I also love plantain chips and these were so crispy and perfect!
I loved talking with the husband and wife duo, they are incredible people with so many wonderful ideas and aspirations! I can’t wait to see where this journey takes them, and I can’t wait to visit again!!

I ate a very delicious meal here today! It’s called the velvet cluck…amazing. I also had a dessert called Miss Berry…omg so good. The place is adorable and cozy and the chef is a true artist. I want to come back soon with friends and my kids so they can try this place, I know they will love it.
