Bloom’s is a stylish ode to the gentlemen-only bachelor apartments, combining the art deco glamour of its 1920s glory with the irreverent revamps of the ’70s and ’80s. The result is a decadent cocktail lounge of glitz and grime, a place where dreams are sublimated and angels and sinners find communion.

Blooms is a stunning cocktail lounge tucked inside the Hotel Ulysses — a true gem with a regal, vintage ambiance that transports you straight back to the Roaring Twenties. The plush velvet booths and ceilings, paired with charming vintage lamps at each table, create an atmosphere that’s both elegant and nostalgic.
The staff were kind and attentive, even amid a busy Saturday crowd. We arrived around 5:30 p.m., and by 6:30 the lounge was nearly full. It took about 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive, which is understandable given how popular the space is, but something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during peak hours.
We tried The Matchmaker, Summertime, and Sateen Daydream — all beautifully crafted and strong cocktails, leaning more on the bitter side rather than sweet. While the drinks weren’t exactly my go-to flavor profile, the craftsmanship and presentation were impressive.
Blooms truly shines as a venue for live music and performances, which they host on weekends (check their website for event details). I’d definitely return to experience a show in such a stylish setting. It’s not my top pick for a casual cocktail, but for atmosphere and entertainment, Blooms is hard to beat.

So I went to blooms on a slow Saturday night. Inside is super nice, & I do love the vintage 70s aesthetic of it all. Idk if they take reservations, but I just walked in &. A hostess sat me down. The velvet couches are a nice touch, though they aren’t the most comfortable IMO. It’s small, can probably hold about 50 ppl total. But for it to be a slow night, the service was even slower, surprisingly. Getting my waiter’s attention felt like the hunger games 🙁 she served me and would disappear for 30 minutes. It took nearly another 30 minutes just to get the check after I asked. I’d go back, but I wouldn’t get a table. I’d just stand at the bar, where the service seems quicker. My drinks were very good! On the pricey side but that’s to be expected with cocktail bars these days.

Bloom’s is a super stylish cocktail lounge tucked inside the Hotel Ulysses that instantly feels like a night out worth remembering. The vibe is chic and cozy with dim lighting, plush seating, and art-deco details that make it great for date night or celebrating a special occasion. Cocktails are creative — some hit big with bold flavors and gorgeous presentation, though a few can lean strong or unique — but overall the drink menu is fun to explore. The bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere gives off a swanky, upbeat energy that’s ideal for sipping and chatting with friends. If you’re into cool lounges with personality and craft drinks, Bloom’s delivers a memorable Baltimore night out.

This is by FAR!!! The best lounges I have ever been to. This bar was made for me ❤️ My type of scenery. We were in town for the Ravens and Steelers game and had to stop and check out. Highly Recommend 1000/1000

My wife and I made a reservation for a night cap after our Anniversary dinner. First off, the Bartender and our server JESSE were so warm and inviting as soon as we walked in. Very Friendly service all night. We really enjoyed that the seating was so large and comfortable. So we were pleased as soon as we were seated. We decided to try 3 different drinks to share and we loved all 3.
The Old Fashioned was the purest Traditional version I like. Properly prepared. The other 2 drinks on the menu are not on the Online menu at all and I don’t remember the names but they were strong and worth every penny. We also enjoyed celebratory Zinfandel. We enjoyed the music and the laid back fun vibe. We will definitely return with friends.

I came here after dinner in Fells, and it was such a cool, swanky vibe—definitely not what I expected from a hotel bar in Baltimore!
Drinks were good and reasonably priced, but it did take a while to get our order in. We didn’t have to wait for a table (even on a busy weekend), which was a win for our group of four.
Great spot for a date night or hanging out with friends. Giving it a 3.5 but rounding up because the vibes were good.

Maybe the best looking bar I have ever been to! Best one in Baltimore for sure. A decadent cocktail lounge in Hotel Ulysses, Bloom’s is host to near-nightly happenings, inspired cocktails and sublime eavesdropping. Nice service, and my table was ready in accordance with my reservation time (not always the case with certain places).
The ambiance steals the show. Great vibes for a business or casual conversation, that’s not centered exclusively around dining.
For a bottle of sparkling water, a cocktail, and a mocktail, I paid $40 before tip.
The cocktail I got tasted like medicine a little bit. The one with vodka that’s $14. I had to add my sparkling water to make it palatable. The mocktail was cool, not sweet and not super memorable.
The cocktail my friends got, though, was SO good. It was green in color and had froth. Get that for sure. Moderate street parking.

Me & my friend were racially profiled and were not able to get seating. It was Valentine’s Day, we just left a great event, the night was still young. We decided to go to Bloom’s because of the nice aesthetic and we heard the drinks were good. When I checked the reservations prior to, it was still seating available. However, when we got there is was a little busy but you could tell it was one of those things where people could fizzle out since it was the end of the night. The waitress said that we could stand in the standing area and wait for bar seating. She was kind of smug in her tone about it. I saw saw couches right outside the bar and we just waited there for about 30 minutes. We saw people eventually leave back out so we went back to see if we had a chance . Instead of taking our names down in case of more open seats, the waitress said in that smug tone, I’m so sorry to have to turn you all away. Mind you there were other people waiting around too. As we were waiting in the hallway to regroup, we saw the waitress come to an interracial couple that came in after us, asked us if they were still interested in seating. We overheard the black woman joke around with the waitress joke around about how her boyfriend dates black woman. So we knew what the energy of everything was at that point. We didn’t present ourselves as *those* types of black women. That couple actually turned the table down and the waitress walked passed us and never asked if we’d like to take that table instead. It was uncomfortable. I’m sure the drinks and vibes are good but I don’t have to be in a place where the service staff can profile who they want to provide service to.

Bloom’s is a pretty face with no substance. We arrived for our reservation and were sat after waiting for a few minutes to be acknowledged. Once we were taken to our seats, we were never approached by a waitress to take our drink order. The lounge wasn’t busy, so I have no idea why our table was continuously passed over. We waited for half an hour before deciding to bail and go to The Coral Wig, the other hotel bar (which was excellent). It was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, considering I’ve been excited to try Bloom’s since it came on my radar several years ago. This is a glorified selfie spot masquerading as a functioning bar.
