Renaissance brought us back to our times in Paris! We fell in love with the café culture: the food, wine and music. The feeling you have walking into this restaurant is similar to receiving a long, loving hug from your favorite French tante you haven’t seen in years!

I have never left a review like this for a restaurant in the 30A area. I find 30A food boring and overrated. It took months to try Renaissance b/c I figured that it was going to be just another overpriced mediocre 30A grub stand. I. Was. WRONG!!
Not only does it feel as though you’re in Paris, it tastes like you are there as well! The French onion soup and the escargot are so authentic and perfect. The beef bourguignon was super tender and the crème brûlée had the absolute perfect crust, while the texture of the custard was light, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The wine list was excellent as well. Will definitely be back!

Divine. Truly felt like I had temporarily stepped into a Parisian cafe/restaurant. Wine was delightful. Meat melted in your mouth. The vegetables were outstanding and the presentation was beautiful!

Excellent overall experience at Renaissance. We were served by Valerie (owners mother from France helping out) and she added tso much to the overall experience. the other server also seemed very professional.
We had the cheese appetizer (entree in France) and it was a great selection of 3 mild cheeses along with fig confit and some slices of bread. We also had the warm baguette and salted butter which was very good.
Our mains were the salmon with sauce and steak frite (medium) with the peppercorn sauce. Both were well presented and very well done. Servings were large and we enjoyed the two quite different meals.
Dessert was a chocolate torte which while dense was not at all bitter as some are. It had some rasberry sauce and strawberry along with fresh whip cream.
We aren’t really wine drinkers so can’t comment on the wines – but I am sure they are very good and offered by the glass as well as bottle.
This is a quaint and small place that has great atmosphere for what it is – a French restaurant. Most different from usual 30A fare and a pleasant change. it would be especially good for a date night or special occasion dinner.
Highly recommend this unique experience. We are going to France for first time later this year and it was a good prelude of what to expect and added to by our very friendly and French server !

The best meal I’ve had in a very long time. This beautiful intimate French bistro was unbelievably good. We had excellent champagne, the cheese plate, salmon, beef borgignoun. The music and the atmosphere was so exactly like Paris. We arrived early- the dining room became lively with happy people enjoying wonderful food but it was still easy to talk. I love the cutlery, tdishware, everything was so top-notch! Valerie our server, who is French, is so charming and took care of the Restaurant by herself floating around like the perfect host at a party! If you haven’t gone, you have to go. All the details were perfect! Take your soecial person! I just can go on and on the menu I loved I will be back!!!

This place killed it! We celebrated our anniversary tonight and we couldn’t have had a better experience. It reminded us of our time overseas. Our waitress was the best and the Chef delivered our meal and dessert. We can’t wait to go back!

It was a wonderful experience! The food was very flavorful, and the wine selection was outstanding. I highly recommend it for any special occasions. The setting is very intimate, food presentation is top notch, and every detail is thought through. I was very grateful that they could accommodate us without reservation, but I would not take a chance next time because they were pretty booked for the restaurant of the night.

Such a hidden gem. We found this place by accident, as we were looking for somewhere new to try. The place itself is very cute, well decorated. It is small, so definitely make a reservation. Our server was extremely friendly, helpful with suggestions, and attentive. We ordered the escargot and the cheese platter, both were delicious. And if you haven’t had escargot, trust me it’s worth a try if made correctly and they did a superb job. For our entrees, we had the lamb and the beef cheeks. My bf stated that the lamb chops were the best he has had in a long time. I had the beef cheeks and they were delicious. We ate all our food before we could even get a picture but we will be back.

My first experience with French cuisine, WOW! I’m not joking when I say this was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had! There were 6 of us and we tried the perfect deviled eggs with chef twist, amazing escargot, delicious bread, perfectly paired wine and caviar then….. I asked Chef Mel what was his recommendation for dinner. He said the salmon. I do not eat salmon really. He went on to explain a lil more about it and I trusted him. AMAZING with the sauce I could have licked the plate clean. We all shared the crème brûlée and strawberry desert. Not 1 single dish disappointed!!! Felt like I was in a cafe in Paris. Everything we had was delicious, especially the salmon dish. I wanted to bathe in the sauce and found myself eating it by the spoonful when I was done. The service was great and very attentive, wine was *chefs kiss* and the desert was the perfect end to our meal. My husband and I will definitely make this one of our regular spots for date night. Definitely recommended.
