If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
It was my first time in Mexico and only the second restaurant I visited, and this was exactly what I needed to truly experience the flavors of Mexico. They have all the traditional dishes you’d hope for, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious.
My favorites: sopa de tortilla,pollo con mole and the margarita!
The restaurant itself is stunning — beautiful, elegant, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service. It was phenomenal.
Our server, Jose, was incredibly attentive the entire time. We were dining with our 1.5-year-old daughter, and he went above and beyond for her, bringing her a small plate, giving her bread right away, offering a kid-friendly meal, and treating her like a little adult.
We would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The place is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The service was exceptionally kind and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
The menu is rich and varied, offering great options for every taste. We tried the French onion soup and ordered the beef medallions in pepper sauce – everything was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, exactly as requested.

Hacienda de los Morales is a top Mexican Restaurant. The decoration and atmosphere, plus the installations , make you feel really in a typical Mexican place. The food is of great quality but expensive. It is also rented for private events and has a beautiful garden. Really a place to enjoy.

This place discriminates against people with disabilities. They don’t allow service animals into their establishment, which is a violation of disability and service animal laws in Mexico.
The food is mediocre. You can find better food for the half the price and higher quality elsewhere. Everything tasted like it had been prepared hours before and reheated.

So…started with hostess giving us grief because we made our reservation though Google Maps. Yet we got there at 6pm and the place was empty except for one or two other tables, servers were standing around. So why the grief? Then the wait staff gave us grief about bringing a bottle of wine and asking about a corkage fee, which they charged us for. Then it took multiple requests to get water. Overall, skip it. Maybe because we aren’t nationals? Don’t know. Not cheap for the way we were treated.
Update: my guest just said that the server tried to tell him that our wine had a compromised cork and tried to say he wouldn’t serve our wine. We made him let us taste it and we drank it, it was perfectly delicious. Not ethical people in my opinion. Go elsewhere is my recommendation.

Came here as a recommendation from my boss who is born in Mexico City, and it definitely did not disappoint. One of the best meals that I have had in my whole life. The picana with chimichurri and the “governor style” shrimp tacos were our favorites, but everything was amazing. Top notch service as well, it practically felt like we had two servers just for our table. There was wonderful live classical music playing in the background to set the ambiance.

I attended the Cena Navidena on Dec. 24, 2024 and was not disappointed. The grounds and interiors were beautifully decorated for Christmas, the vibe was family-friendly and very festive. I enjoyed the carolers, music, ponche y frutas and bunuelos, and taking in all the activities before dinner. I had the vegetarian menu of pan (many choices), salad, squash soup, roasted eggplant in cashew cream, and mango coconut flan (kind of panna cotta-like). Service was great and the strolling musicians were charming. The event was a 5 out of 5. The food was a 3.5 to 4. Service was a 5. Overall, a lovely way to spend Christmas Eve and experience a family-style celebration in Mexico City.

I was there 17 years ago, and I fell in love with the place. Building still beautiful. I remember classic and fine Mexican music from the old times, great and knowledgeable servers, delicious food and Mexican deserts. Not this time, just like another place. Not impressed with the food, the servers were polite, but like stressed out or in a hurry, they didn’t explain the drinks, or dishes, didn’t offer the desserts selection until we asked for, and didn’t keep the table clean. Because servers were checking other tablets, It was challenging to call their attention The pastries weren’t good. They should bring back the classic Mexican dessert. The chocolate cake was the worse. It looked like it was frozen before. It was pricey for the quality and the service.
