1st Order-Biscuits w/sausage gravy, came with “garlic fries”, so opted for coleslaw, and side of “potatoes w/aioli sauce. Turns out “fries” are actually cubed potatoes, like home “fries”. Now we know. Water.
2nd order- Breakfast sandwich w/garlic fries and coffee. Danish to go.
Total cost $41.99 (plus tip)with c/c up charge.
Biscuits and gravy, great! Potatoes w/aioli, great. Breakfast sandwich great. Coleslaw was “mayo” type, but really tasted mostly of salt! Inedible. Coffee good!
Cozy and warm.
Impressed-until a dog walked out of the kitchen and through/around dining area. Back into the kitchen where he ate food from the floor. Not sure what to think/say about that.
Good food-but nothing earth shattering. There are few options in the area-especially during winter.
Let me tell you I would gladly drive several hours to have a taste of this again. The service was great and scenery stunning as well. See you soon!
The fried chicken is phenomenal, crispy, tender, juicy… I don’t even have the words. Just try it and you’ll understand.
I’ve been hooked on their breakfast sandwiches lately. These aren’t your typical breakfast sandwiches. The caramelized onions and hearty focaccia take them to another level. Speaking of focaccia, it might just be the best bread I’ve ever had. The pulled pork sandwich is also great with the bread. Their corn bread is also great, goes well with the bbq beans.
Some specials really impressed me: the sweet and sticky pork ribs (sometimes called sweet and orange ribs), sesame cold noodles, and pesto scrambles. Definitely grab them if they’re on the menu.
And don’t skip dessert. Their cakes have such an elegant flavor. I’m currently cutting back on sugar due to pre-diabetes, but I make an exception here. I save my weekly treat for one slice of their cake, and it’s always worth it.
Definitely try it! I might be biased but I think this is the best place in the area.
We first came for lunch. I had a sampler platter of sides, which comes with a large piece of focaccia (some of the best focaccia I have ever eaten) and my husband had the turkey sandwich, which is made with real turkey meat, also served on focaccia bread, which he loved.
Because our experience was so good, we came back the next day for breakfast and they did not disappoint. I got the sausage and gravy with garlic fries, which was amazing, especially because they make their own sausage which was some of the best I have ever had.
I bought a ramp pesto and feta focaccia and a ricotta and bell pepper focaccia to go, which were amazing as well.
For dessert, I had the chocolate olive oil cake (which is vegan/dairy free), with a side of their homemade whipped cream. Both of these were great as well.
I am sad we didn’t discover this place sooner, as we probably would have eaten here every day.
If we come back to the Finger Lakes, we will definitely be returning to Here.
The staff were very friendly as well and we received our food probably within 15 min, if not sooner, both times.
