I deliver in the area and always drive by. I kept saying I’m going to stop by one day and well let’s just say I’m glad I finally did! I went thru the drive thru and ordered the pulled pork plate with coleslaw and baked beans. The food was very good and had a very nice flavor. Im glad I finally stopped by and I’ll definitely be back much sooner rather than later!

The definition of a gem. Food’s all home-style in a home-style setting. Eating there is an intimate and wholesome experience. This place will be a nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up in rural Georgia, the wood stove and eclectic decor makes it feel like nana’s house.

As a Level 7 Google Local Guide with over 18 million views, I can say that I was passing this place on my way to the North Georgia Premium Outlet. When I saw how unique this place was, I thought they must have some excellent BBQ. My wife and I decided to turn the car around and give them a try. Samantha was very nice and made sure I was treated well. I ordered a half rack of the baby back ribs to go. They were very small and the portion was very small as you can see from my picture. However, the quality of the meat was excellent! The BBQ sauce was average like a store bought sauce, but the meat did not need any sauce. They definitely need to upgrade the sauce because they are leaving room for another BBQ spot to takeover. I wanted spare ribs but they didn’t offer such. Spare ribs would be a bigger seller and might cost less to serve. With their amazing touch in the kitchen, no BBQ spot would be able to match them and they could certainly be voted best BBQ in Metro Atlanta with that small adjustment. As far as the place, I couldn’t pass by without stopping. That is solely based on the curb appeal. They have the best looking BBQ spot of all the spots I have been to, and I’ve reviewed some of the best in Atlanta. They have something very special. They simply need to refine their menu to add spare ribs and to get a better sauce to match the quality of their meat. One more thing that needs attention, I saw their billboard first. When I saw “Amos BBQ and Biscuits, I was intrigued because I never saw that combination on any menu. Once I passed the spot, the building made me want to turn around and pay them a visit. I let Samantha know that the billboard showing “BBQ and Biscuits” sold me. She then let me know the biscuits ended at breakfast. Once I heard that, I was very disappointed. I came from 40 miles away, driving for 1-hour, and was looking forward to ordering what the sign was offering. I was particularly looking forward to biscuits and BBQ, a combination I never heard of. They should not advertise both if they are not going to offer them together. I hope another place doesn’t come in offering that combination, because it will draw people in. It drew me! I recommend Amos BBQ “and Biscuits” solely for the amazing building and the amazing meat. I hope they consider my recommendations so they can be the best in Metro Atlanta because they are so close.

A great little out of the way place. Food was yummy…best I believe to get there earlier (it was about 10:30 when we got there for breakfast). Looking forward to trying out the BBQ next time!

Brought my son here on the way between jobs and ordered a brisket sandwich plate with 2 sides. He just got a pork sandwich. They brought out a brisket plate with a slice of toast, I asked for a bun and said I’d make the sandwich myself so they didn’t have to remake the plate and they said I had to pay for the bun…?
I literally ordered a sandwich and they messed up the order, seems bad to get a 1 star review over a 25 cent bun but here we are.. place is going downhill, brisket was undercooked with a lot of unrendered fat, sucks because we used to love this place!

I got the Classic Pulled Pork Platter With BBQ Baked Beans and Brunswick Stew. It was delicious. The sauce on my pork was really pleasant, but im really, REALLY Impressed by the BRUNSWICK STEW. Highly recommend you get you some. The first bite hits like a home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, and I can’t help but want to drink it all!

My husband and I were driving by and decided to stop here for breakfast. I had a create your own with 2 scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and grits. My husband had the create your own with 2 fried eggs and sausage and a side of hash browns. This was the freshest best breakfast we have had in quite some time. We are looking forward to trying their BBQ.
The service was excellent and atmosphere was great!
