Good drinks and chocolate. Expensive, but not too terrible compared to other chocolate places. Expected a lot more options given the name of the business, but what they have seems quality.. chocolate covered strawberries were good.
A lot of stuff wasn’t picked, so there was quite a sticker shock at check out.. not sure if anything is actually made here, since all the packaged stuff had other names/brands on them, which is kind of odd..
Right up the stairs is the Christmas store, which is cool, but also super expensive

With the name chocolate market I assumed it was a candy shop. Instead it’s a latte and ice cream shop. It was also much smaller than expected. What candy they did sell seemed overpriced. However I did enjoy the architecture of the building. That alone was worth the stop. There were also tables to sit at. Just up the steps is the German Christmas Store. While beautiful to look at everything was expensive.

I had a delicious chocolate-pistachio cold brew and an even better scoop of Monocacy Mud ice cream – but the real showstopper here is just the interior of the shop. Tiffany glass, parquet floors, and absolutely gorgeous bar — I was shocked to hear it had all been bought at thrift and auctions and built in the last 4 years. This place is an absolute work of art.

This place it too focused on political agendas instead running a buisness. It has an all gender bathroom which made people uncomfortable. Got some good ice cream and the Christmas store next door has great decorations and things for sale!

My family I visited the market after dinner looking for a sweet dessert. We each chose something delectable. My daughter chose caramel and chocolate drizzled “monster” marshmallows on a stick. My other daughter had a decadent M&M chocolate cup which she really enjoyed. I chose a juicy caramel apple with dark chocolate drizzle. It was so good!!! The server was helpful in answering all our inquiries and did not make us feel rushed. We will definitely be returning to sample some more of their delicious treats.

Great variety to choose from. It’s a little more in price than what we’d normally pay but being in a tourist town with the quality of chocolate- it’s understood. We had gotten the 12 piece box of chocolate and the workers were so patient as we selected our choices. They gave us little tidbits of information as we selected and were very professional and nice.

A bit costly. Almosr $20 for just 9 pieces of chocolate. I found the milk chocolate to be a bit bitter. The coconut clusters were the best of all I tried. They didn’t have any chocolate covered raisins, pretzels, or caramel patties. I was very dissapointed. The people working there were really kind and patient. The atmosphere is amazing. If the chocolate itself was more creamier and not bitter and if they’d had the other staples that I love, I would gove this place 5 stars. Some people love the less sweet chocolate, if that’s you, please visit them! It’s an experience in a fun environment.

We wanted coffee and stumbled upon this place. I LOVE truffles and coffee. I ordered the 16oz white chocolate carmel latte with whip cream. My boyfriend ordered a regular coffee. I also bought three bars of rainbow fudge, six truffles the jalapeno, banana foster, peanut butter, raspberry, pomegranate and coffee truffle flavors. The cream on my latte was really good. You could tell it was homemade cream. They put way to much on though. My 16 oz latte was more like a 12oz latte because of the over abundance of whip cream. They put all the Carmel in the bottom of my cup . Couldn’t taste the Carmel at all until I almost finished my drink. Then it was way to sweet, because the whole bottom of the cup was filled with Carmel. The only truffles that I liked were the peanut butter and banana foster. All the others were mediocor. I like lindt truffles way better than the ones they had. I would recommend this place for a regular cup of Joe. Wasn’t very impressed with the truffles though. This place is a bit pricey. I paid 4.50 a bar of fudge. Also paid $3 a piece for the truffles.

This is a really neat chocolate shop in Gettysburg. They have awesome milkshakes and hot cocoa if you stop in on a cold day. It is pretty close to the town square and is very reasonably priced. There is only one bathroom in the building and employees were very nice.

Ordered a medium hot chocolate for my brother. Waited and they called out for a small, so we did not answer. The lady behind the counter rudely asked if we had a hot chocolate and I said yes but ours was a medium. She said yeah its this guy right here very rudely & went on without even acknowledging us again. Also could not order any chocolate as everything had a nut warning. Have been to Gettysburg 10+ times and had never stopped here before and now Im glad I hadn’t wasted my time previously.
