Sweet spot for great food. The servings were massive, the flavors were good. Definitely recommend getting the homemade corn tortillas they are excellent. The service was friendly and fast. Our food order was out in less than 7 minutes. Lots of good beers on tap and many more in bottles. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the steak fajitas. The steak was over cooked and chewy. That won’t stop me from coming back.

Finding this authentic restaurant out here was a very pleasant surprise. I was born and raised in a US border town with Mexico and am Mexican-American. I can vouch for the authenticity of this place. It has great food, plays authentic Mexican music (unlike most “Mexican” restaurants in the US), has low prices, good portions and a friendly staff. I’m only in town for a week but I’ll definitely revisit this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere was really nice, low lit but very colorful. There are 2 sections, one has a bar…big plus. Tried their cheese dip/queso and have to say it was better than most in this area. Tried a beef taco, terrific taste. Tried cheese enchilada, too much red sauce on top. Tried the chicken burrito, great taste but could do without the red salsa on top. Beans and rice were pretty good too, the panhandle usually doesn’t have good rice for some reason but this place did. The staff was great, friendly and always looking to refill or ask if you needed anything. There are about 6 on street parking located in front but as usual for that area parking can be dismal. I will certainly go back again and take new people to try it out. Give it a try, I hope it stays in the area, very refreshing take. Oh and the prices were awesome too!!!

Food was good as were the prices. I had the taco salad which was good, but I’d call it standard. (Nut that’s not necessarily a bad thing!)(I rate Mexican sports by taco salad and fajitas. If you can’t get those right, I probably won’t be back to try anything else.) My wife got the chicken fajitas – Wow! Nice and hot, seasoning was excellent. Will be back and will be getting that myself. Good job!

They were incredibly busy due to some events happening downtown. Even so our waitress was fantastic about getting our order and bringing our food out in a timely manner. The staff is fantastic and the food is amazing. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the mood for some affordable Mexican food!

Service from bartender was great and drinks were good.

Good food! We went here on Halloween and the staff was welcoming and definitely knew what they were doing. The chips were particularly great. I got crunchy tacos and the kids got fries and a quesadilla. Everything was good! Would definitely stop by again if craving Mexican food and in the area.
