Tutti Da Gio was a recommended pizza stop, so we went for dinner.

It’s an order at the counter place and find a table. We should have chosen a larger table because the small one was very crowded if you each get a pizza.

We started with the Caprese (Tomatoes & Mozzarella) immaculate mozzarella cheese and slices of fresh tomatoes drizzled in balsamic glaze. We requested more balsamic glaze because it was light. The fresh mozzarella was fantastic with the tomato and acidic balsamic glaze flavor that works so well. Just a great light perfect start and so fresh.

Next the Diavola Pizza (Pepperoni) Fresh Mozzarella & Pepperoni over the immaculate tomato sauce. The wood fire crust is so good and just a nice pepperoni pizza. Fantastic Flavor.

The Margherita Pizza (Cheese & Basil) Magnificent Pizza Bread Fermented for no less than 24 hours topped with simple tomato sauce covered with Mozzarella and Basil. Ours was more like a cheese pizza as there was hardly any basil. I like a lot of basil like in Italy and being an Italian Pizza I was hoping it would be very similar to Italy. This was more a cheese pizza. The pizza with the wood fired crust was still really good and I would just request more basil if you like a lot like me.

Excellent Wood Fired Pizza and would definitely try the others in the menu.

The service was good and would definitely return.

I had dinner at Tutti Da Gio and overall really enjoyed it! I ordered the gnocchi with shrimp, and it was absolutely amazing the eggplant sauce was so flavorful and delicious. Everything about that dish was perfect. We also tried the salami pizza, which wasn’t my favorite it was very thin, a bit soggy, and got cold quickly. On the bright side, the lemoncello slushy drink was incredible refreshing and perfectly balanced. I’d definitely come back, especially for the pasta and drinks!

Exceptionally delicious food with large portions. Everything was fresh, and you could tell they use quality ingredients. Staff was friendly, and they appear to have live music on Saturdays, which was a nice touch. I would definitely go back, And I’ve already recommended Tutti Da Gio to my friends.

Stopped into Tutti Da Gio in Hendersonville the other day and I’ve got to say, their pizza and calzones are spot on. The pizza came out hot with that perfect bubbly crust that’s got a nice chew but still light. You can tell the dough is made right. The sauce is fresh and not overdone, and the toppings actually taste like real ingredients, not the cheap stuff.

I also tried the calzone and, wow… it’s packed full of cheese and meat, crispy on the outside, soft inside. Honestly one of the better calzones I’ve had around here. Portion size is generous too, so you don’t walk out hungry.

The place itself has a good vibe — bright, clean, and comfortable. Service was quick, food came out hot, and everyone was friendly. If you’re into real Italian-style pizza and a proper calzone, this spot is worth the trip.

The Margherita pizza we got was not good. There was hardly cheese and the no tomatoes. We had this pizza in many places but they were good but here. There were no tomatoes, basil or much cheese on it.

Other items ordered were fine.

I’m so disappointed in my experience, because I’ve been wanting to try Tutti Da Gio for months now. But my fiancée planned a birthday dinner for me here recently. She called multiple times to confirm things with the staff. The first time she called, she was told all adults have to order a $25 minimum. The second time, it was also added in that if anyone didnt show up, then we had to cover their $25 fee. She agreed to this and was not told of any further policies. The night of the dinner, my friends started arriving and were treated very rudely by the staff. Mind you, there was MAYBE one table inside that was occupied and none of the patio tables were taken by anyone else. We were bascially the only people in the restaurant at the time. When my fiancée and I arrived, we had barely sat down before the waitress came over and started very hatefully telling her that “I’m not putting in this many tickets at once, you’re going to have to put this in as 1 ticket and just have everyone Venmo you.” My fiancée said she wanted to make sure that was ok with everyone first because that was never communicated to her beforehand, and the waitress continued to be extremely rude and hateful. When other people came in for us, they were going to sit elsewhere in the restaurant. They were completely declined service! My fiancee finally asked to speak with the manager, and instead was met with a very hostile owner. She basically blamed my fiancée for not speaking to her directly when she made the reservations, laughed in her face, and refused to even come up with any type of compromise (which literally, all we were asking for was to let my friend and her family eat in the same restaurant as us, not even at the same table). I finally made the decision to leave because at that point, I dont care how good your food may be, I wont support your business. When I said we should just leave, she started trying to get us to stay. But quickly went back to being extremely condescending and hateful. So I again said we were leaving. The owner turned to someone in my party and said, “well great. Ive already lost money having to wait on this table tonight, now you’re just going to leave.” Just a tip for the future, sweetie: when you have close to $1,000 GUARENTEED MONEY, don’t chase it out the door with your nasty attitude then try to blame the customers for walking out. Definitely wont ever step foot back in this place again or support anything this owner does.

Editing this to respond to the owner:

In no way was anyone in my party intolerant to you or your staff, ESPECIALLY in regards to your culture. In fact, I never even mentioned anything about culture in my original review. What I said what your attitudes were bad. And thats not a cultural thing. No one made a scene in your restaurant, and no there were definitely not 36 in my party. We literally had 4 people show up who were just going to sit at one of the many empty tables you had. You have been the one mischaracterizing not only me, but also my fiancee, by claiming that you were simply defending your staff from “intolerant karens”. We simply got our party together and we left.

Great place, great service, great food.

The Arancini for an appetizer was very good. The complimentary bread was excellent.

My wife & I both got the spaghetti carbonara, and they do the last of the prep table side, straight from a giant wheel of parmesan. (only on Tue & Wed)

The tiramisu was excellent as well.

There was a live musician making the atmosphere all the better.

Tutti da Gio – A Hidden Gem Worth Finding

Vibe:
What a charming surprise! Tutti da Gio is tucked away in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you—this place is a total gem. The wood-burning pizza oven is a standout feature, and the space feels cozy, welcoming, and clearly well-loved. It’s simple, homey, and full of heart. You can tell this is a true neighborhood spot, run with passion.

Service:
Exceptionally warm and friendly. I felt instantly at home—like I was being welcomed into someone’s family kitchen.

Eats:
I started with the Vulcano side salad—romaine, arugula, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, onions, Parmigiano, and a light balsamic-olive oil dressing. It may sound simple, but wow—it was so fresh and flavorful. I’d go back for this salad alone.

Then came the Margherita pizza—a classic, done perfectly. The dough was spot on: chewy with just the right amount of char from that wood-fired oven. The tomato sauce was light and clean, the mozzarella creamy, and the fresh basil brought it all together.

They also have a thoughtful, well-priced wine list—impressive quality for the price point.

You can see the care in every detail here. Everything is made fresh—I even caught a glimpse of the team crafting pasta and dough by hand.

Final verdict:
Tutti da Gio is a true find. Great food, warm hospitality, and a lot of love in every bite. You have to check them out.
