Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing! My favorite is the kung fu stack, I’ve also had their OMG shrimp and it’s incredible! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and can give great recommendations on what to order. The aesthetic of the restaurant is super cute! They have murals on the walls, and the restaurant is very clean and well kept. This place is a must try if you haven’t already!

Definitely a nice place to stop and eat at. Beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. Eat inside at the bar or at a table or sit outside under the covered area and enjoy the outside life, perfect breeze. There menu names will crack you up , I loved the Customer service, so knowledgeable about menu Items, Very nice atmosphere, family, friendly, chilled. Very neat and clean inside and outside. The food was amazing. I will definitely be back for more. Prices are fair. Big T.V on the walls playing different stuff to keep you entertained.

Started with a fried pickle appetizer. I ordered the jacked up snapper, so delicious, and got the side salad and grilled vegetables. My husband got the shrimp tacos (it was taco Tuesday) and a side of fries.
The food was really good and fresh. Everything came out fast and was just beyond delicious.

My wife and I visited Mandez Seafood in Youngsville yesterday afternoon for dinner and had a great experience! The restaurant is nicely decorated with an open, airy feel that made for a relaxing atmosphere.
Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and even though it was a Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy and we were seated and served quickly.
I started with an Adult Cherry Cola—very refreshing and tasty! We shared the Brussels sprout appetizer, which had great flavor but was a little dry. We mentioned that to our server and suggested it might pair well with some pepper jelly. She promptly brought us two cups, and it made all the difference—absolutely delicious! My wife loved them so much she barely touched her entrée.
I ordered the seafood nachos after seeing several rave reviews, and they did not disappoint. They were packed with flavor and had a nice kick of spice—definitely a dish I’d recommend if you like a little heat.
Also worth mentioning: the restrooms were very clean and well-kept, which we always appreciate.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mandez’s and will definitely be back!

I had heard nothing but good things about Mandez’s so when a friend came to town, I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed. Drinks were small and pricey. Our Seafood nachos had a fishy taste. They were still ok but definitely had that flavor of not so fresh crawfish or something. We had 2 servers, one was a trainee. They were not very attentive. For my meal, I had the veggie stir fry. It was pretty tasty. My friend had a wrap. She said it was ok. My other friend did enjoy her chicken. I wish I had tried a fish entree but wasn’t too hungry. Not sure this restaurant is worth a repeat visit. Maybe if I am in the area I will try something else on the menu. I had high hopes and they were let down.

If we are back in Lafayette we will definitely come back. I had a wrap from the lent menu and it was amazing. My boyfriend doesn’t like ribs but ordered them once he seen them and was given the run down on how they are cooked. Y’all!! He bragged about these ribs to everyone. We really enjoyed the tuna appetizer. (Can’t remember the name from the menu) it was very flavorful. The egg plants fries were delicious.

I got the ahi tuna wrap, it was light and fresh. A bit pricey. $18 for a wrap and fries. The waitress said you could sub any side for the fries but failed to mention that it was an up charge also she was very present when we were first seated but then like kinda disappeared and didn’t come back to the table very much. All in all decent lunch here

Glad we finally came. Had a couple nice apps. We’ll back back to try some more.
Update. We’ve been back s few times for apps (always good) but today I had the fried chicken for lunch. I’ve heard good things about it but it didn’t live up to expectations. One thigh was burnt and rubbery and other barely cooked through. The red beans taste like Tex-mex, not good.

Glad to see another nice restaurant open up in Youngsville. My wife and I visited for dinner on a Thursday night. We were seated at a high top right away. The restaurant has a good vibe and great place to meet with friends. We ordered the Spinach Rockefeller Dip with Pork Skins for an appetizer. The dip was good but we didn’t care for the pork skins. My wife had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap and I had the Grilled Fish tacos with grilled veggies. Everything came out on time and was cooked as ordered. We thought everything tasted just ok, but good enough for a second try. We plan to visit again. I felt the prices are a little above average, but now a days, everything seems above average lol!
