Love! This place has always been a favorite of ours and one of the best places to eat in Washington. Prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants. Everything they make is amazing and the service is great! You get exactly what you order, the way you ordered it. They rarely mess up an order, if at all! Wish they stayed open a bit later, but it won’t stop us from visiting and ordering take-out!

Quiet little place with plenty of regulars. My guest and I went before the dinner rush and were greeted by a very welcoming hostess. Chef can accommodate to specific preference. Food was fresh and very good. We tried a couple of Chinese staples, egg rolls (which were more like spring rolls) and hot and sour soup, and they did not disappoint. Will definitely return again and again.

I love taking my kids there. It’s a great family place. Everyone is really nice and friendly. My kids love going there, we always have a great time. I don’t have to worry about cooking, I just have to sit the and talk and have a great time with my my kids!! And we always order the ” big noodle soup” !!!

Was not impressed with Hunan Garden at all. Food wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. It was bland and didn’t look fresh. You could tell there was no effort into preparing the food.
The environment was dirty, dark and depressing. I couldn’t help but notice the dust around the air vents because it looks like they haven’t been cleaned ever. I would hate to see the kitchen in this place.
Service was slow, we went without refills for awhile and we waited a long time for our meal even though it wasn’t busy at all. Will definitely not be going back.

I’m there right now. The food has gotten bad. Use to be not to bad of a restaurant. Most of the meat I got was mainly fat. Some of the food was very salty. Some of the food was very hard. .. like it was over cooked. The food was cold. And the restaurant is very cold inside. I got the bar. I tried to order pot stickers.. they hadn’t made any today and wouldn’t make them. even though they are on the menu. The owner came up behind me and touched me.. .Said something. . I have no idea what they said . I wasn’t happy about the owner putting there hands on me. I’ve been here in the summer.. and the restaurant is always freezing cold. The electric went out twice. The woman’s bathroom door way doesn’t open all the way. As a heavy woman… Couldn’t get into the bathroom.

The food is consistently good. The staff have always been pleasant and remember my drink and soup preferences as I have noticed they do with many repeat customers. I’ve not a bad experience there. Of the two Asian food options in Washington, Henan Garden is by far the better choice.
