The place itself and the food were perfect, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. My only problem was with the music since it was way too quiet, it was a Thursday and a birthday so I wasn’t expecting soft music at all. It was almost a dealbreaker for me, however the food and the place’s vibes were too pretty and made up for that. I completely recommend this place if you want to go somewhere quiet with calming vibes. However, if you want to party then this isn’t really the place for you

Lovely atmosphere in the heart of Heliopolis, modern design and cozy vibes. Staff were friendly and professional, and the food was tasty with nice variety especially seafood and Italian, overall a great spot for a birthday or casual celebration.

Ahmed Badr Was the most amazing waiter we could ever ask for he was very attentive. He made sure our food came out on time. He even gave us complementary drinks and my very good friend Haitham Magdy The Manager was excellent. He made sure that we weren’t missing out on anything down to the free cookies. The vibes the music the atmosphere everything was amazing and on point I recommend this restaurant and my waiter and my manager forget five stars. They need 20 stars. God bless everybody always

Nice ambiance and music. When we went the establishment was practically empty. Service is just ok; the cocktail we ordered was the worst, the steak appetizer was rubbery. The mini burgers were alright but not the best. Sushi was the best plate I had. The Stella beer was not cold cold when we got it, closer to room temperature I would say.

At last i found a place in Cairo that had a nice combination of good food and good value for money!
We were 2 and ordered the following:
– Asian chicken salad: quite nice, perfumed and fresh
– Torched salmon and avocado: really nice and super ingredients
– The grilled octopus : served a bit like a vitello tonnato – it takes away from the octopus’ freshness because of the sauce’s heaviness. The octopus was a bit chewy too. Definitely not our favorite!
– The Thai chicken as a main: quite nice. I would have preferred the Jasmin rice to be more perfumed though
– Sauteed mushrooms: not bad Paris mushroom, a tad salty.
The service was efficient, although the waiters lacked motivation and passion. They were almost reciting what was written on the menu, and we needed to push them to get more personalized advice.
Last but not least, 3 elements to note :
– The venue itself is so pleasant and with very nice interiors
– For the very first time ever in Cairo, I spotted absolutely no mistake on the menu (grammar or spelling)
– The chinaware was of very nice taste (AMM) with beige-like colors and varied shapes.
I will be back!

We had a lovely dinner at the Smokery! The atmosphere is perfect for a quality casual meal or a special night out with someone. Great outdoor seating and classy decor. Service was attentive and polite, and was quick to absolve any misunderstandings. The food presentation was excellent as were the meals themselves. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the sushi was something special. All for a reasonable price considering the quality of the place.
We’re really glad to see The Smokery in Heliopolis and will definitely plan to head back there again soon. The food is on par with some of the better eateries in Cairo but the atmosphere is a step above the hotel ridden establishments.

What a place!
Set in an adorable area of cairo, in the garden of a beautiful boutique hotel,
we went there for a weekend night dinner. We were hungry so we ordered many items from the menu, starters that we all shared were out of this world excellent taste beautiful plates we literally cleaned the plates. We then ordered fillet steaks, cafe de paris and Australian, they were perfect!
The service was excellent the team serving us were gentle smiling and happy and very attentive to details. The atmosphere is very beautiful and the playlist very nice.
When the desert came we were literally full but there is always a place for dessert. I dont know what to suggest but the fondant is 7 stars, the creme brulée is perfect the pain perdu exquisite, even the white sugar ball filled with ice cream is heavenly, ask for it!
Going to the smokery heliopolis is a must u will enjoy and do it again for sure.
Prices are very reasonable! The bar is very well varied and the bartender is very nice!
When you are in Cairo be sure to go there and enjoy!
