My sandwich (Il Primo) was amazing as always! I’ve been to the Coral Gables location and today was my first time at the Brickell location. One of the co-owners was extremely serviceable and was kind enough to cut my sandwich into smaller pieces for me because it’s so massive (as silly as that sounds, it’s the little things that matter!) They just started selling coffee and right now with the purchase of a cookie, you get a free cold brew or latte. Let me just say that although they’re known for some of the best sandwiches in Miami…soon they’ll be known for some of the best coffee. My Coconut Cold Foam Latte was AMAZING! I mean absolutely amazing! One of the best I’ve had in the Brickell/Downtown area. I caaaaaan’t wait to have it again. They were also kind enough to let me sample the Nitro Cold Brew which was also amazing. I loooove Jholanos’ sandwiches. They’re my favorite. Now I love them for their coffee! I can’t think of a better combo! I never leave reviews but I just had to because they really and truly are top quality from the food to the staff so they deserve it 🙂

The heirloom eggs were silky and golden, the brioche bun was soft in that melt into your morning way, and the Calabrian oregano oil added this gorgeous, fragrant warmth that made every bite soooo good. This place was absolutely fantastic. It’s a bit tricky to find since it’s a suite inside a building, but well worth it. The staff was incredible—warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when it came to choosing what to order.

Great sandwhiches, came here b/c it was .1 mile from my hotel. Located in the 999 building, go inside person at the front can direct you, but as you walk in go towards the left and it’s the 1st door on the right (I almost passed it – has a small little business door plaque) I got the Johlano, good balance of flavors ( salty/savory from the meat, sweet from the fig jam, and peppery fresh bite of arugala. The worker gave me a free pistachio tres leches cake! It’s yummy fresh tasting, ok alittle sweet but would pair well with coffee. I wanted to try get a cold sandwich togo but it’s only one worker who is working the register and building sandwiches. I waited about 15min for the sandwich and unfortunately had to be somewhere. I plan to come back during my stay here in Miami.

I can’t complain about the sandwich because without a doubt, it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time—fresh ingredients and excellent quality, the balance of flavors is incredible. 100% recommended. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the service; waiting more than 30 minutes for a sandwich is insane. I understand the demand, but they weren’t keeping track of the orders, and the girl in charge of making them was very slow.

The service was friendly and their ingredients seemed fresh for the most part—the focaccia was very noticeably stale. And my sandwich was mostly bread and arugula since the deli meat was paper thin and scarce. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it since I only ate the meat and threw the rest away.

I decided to try out this place because I ate at the Italian restaurant in downtown Dadeland and thought it was pretty good. I ordered the Jholano sandwich based on the recommendation of an another Patron that was ordering one for himself. I was surprised to see that the menu did not have prices on it and then I was really surprised to see the sandwich was about $25. Once I got back to my office, I did enjoy the sandwich but I really don’t think it’s worth $25. I realize prices are going up for a lot of things these days but it just seems like the pricing is out of touch. A sandwich for lunch should not cost that much for a casual sandwich shop. The location is horrible as it’s in a outdated Brickell commercial building that you have to Hunt down to find it. I think this should be $19 on the high side at best. I probably will not be returning anytime soon.

Ive always enjoyed these sandwiches and never had any issues until today. I ordered the classic Jholano’s sandwich, but when I got home and opened it, I noticed it was missing the arugula and had very little meat. I’d appreciate a refund, as it’s just not the same without the key ingredients.
