How does such good food come from small food truck? I don’t know but it was FANTASTIC.
My son and I ventured to the FKT on a lark, and what a great lark it was. We moved to this part of town recently, so we have enjoyed trying new spots. Some of those spots we return to and some are one and done. Fiery Kitchen Taco is a keeper and we are already making plans to return.
Service is personal and quick, parking is plentiful at the dry cleaners or nearer to the truck.
But you really know about the food:
Burrito with Steak – tender chunks of steak, combined with all the fixings. Delicious
Bang Bang Taco – perfectly cooked shrimp with a sauce with a kick. If you want a bigger kick, try the hot sauce they include. (I am guessing it may be Bang-Bang-Bang Sauce,)
Shrimp Tacos – I am guessing they are good, but my order got confused and the two shrimp tacos I ordered were misplaced and instead I got……
Ground Beef Tacos – I don’t eat red meat, but my two bites of this may convert me. They were PHENOMENAL.
Perfect meal:
Anything, but I thought the tacos were really spectacular.
Maybe the only reason you should not go here is because you don’t live good food at a great price. .

One of the best authentic and excellent tasting Mexican tacos located in the Mandarin section of Jacksonville! Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Perfect way to celebrate Taco Tuesday with the great $2.99 any taco special. Many other dishes await me to try on my next visit!

You must go the this food truck! Very polite people serving amazing, authentic Mexican food. I ordered the open face quesadilla, my husband got the all in burrito and I can’t remember what my daughter got. We also bought the dessert. It’s a must try! . Everything was excellent!! I can’t believe I hadn’t been to this food truck before. I will definitely be telling all of my friends to go try it.

I see the high reviews for this taco truck, so was excited to try it. Unfortunately we had a bad experience, but are willing to try it again. We were the only customers on a Sunday evening. There were three of us and It took a long time to get our food. Two of us ordered nachos (different types) and one ordered tacos. We waited under the tent for a long time. Way too long for what we ordered. We took the food to someone’s house, a mile away.
The nachos were terrible. It seems like it’s hard for nachos to be terrible, but they were. They were SMOTHERED in a bland cheese sauce. There were very few veggies underneath (lettuce, tomato, plus the veggies that one of us had asked for as a substitute for meat). It was hard to eat these nachos and both of us had to throw most of it away. The tacos looked amazing. They were good (4/5 stars) but not fabulous.
Again, I see the many 5 star reviews here, so we’re willing to give it another try, though we’re not feeling very motivated to do so. Perhaps this was a badly trained employee. If we go again, I’ll update this review. And I won’t order nachos.

From a Mexican/American point of view, this is honestly the best Mexican food I’ve had in Florida. I just retired, and I was stationed in Ft Bliss, and this food truck beats many restaurants by a long shot. I can only imagine how much more they will be able to do when they get their restaurant. I had the California Burrito, and was made just right, was not salty like other places, the burrito was a little toasty, sauce inside of it was delicious and salsa taste great as well. I also had the street con and it was delicious as well.

Stopped by for the first time on Tuesday and the tacos were fresh and delicious. Got lunch again today, and it was just as good, if not better. Definitely my new lunch spot. Both of the men working are super friendly and genuinely appreciative.

The customer service is above and beyond. Cesar is so personable. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of Texas by FAR. I regret not coming here sooner. The meat is cooked to perfection. The street corn is perfectly creamy and spicy. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

We love this taco truck! The tacos we ordered were very good, hot, and we received them quickly after ordering. The tacos were delicious and the perfect amount of food. And the price was great. We will definitely be coming back! The Fiery Kitchen Taco has become a favorite after one visit.

Had the most delicious veggie nachos today! I asked for no meat and no jalapeños and found that they had kindly substituted a delightful and flavorful medley of roasted, tomato, mushrooms, and onions. Service was spectacular and I can not wait to return! Thank you!!

Should be a brick and mortar but they serve up some great food here regardless! Super friendly crew! Seating outside only. Get the Carne Asada Fries to go because the LOAD it with cheese and it melts thru the basket paper pretty quickly. Works best in clamshell plate. Nit a gripe! It’s awesome!
The Horchata is massive and worth the price!
