Ordered my routine, Mike’s Famous Philly, steak grilled on the hot plate with onions, peppers, and American cheese.
The kick of peppers is their trick of making the cheese steak.
First, I found the pace of service to be very rushed. The staff spoke quickly and did not seem to be actively listening to my order. This led to a lack of order repetition, and consequently, some items were missed.
Additionally, I noticed a discrepancy with the available utensils. While forks were provided, there were no knives available. Given that you serve sub sandwiches, a knife is a necessary utensil for many customers.
Finally, a simple request to have my sandwich cut in half seemed to cause confusion among the staff, who appeared hesitant to fulfill it.
These issues combined led to a frustrating experience, and as a result, I would be reluctant to recommend this location to others. I hope this feedback helps you address these areas for improvement
By the time I went to my car noticed that the gift card payment had processed on my upside app. I went back inside the Jersey Mikes and asked for some receipt of the balance indicating that there was a gift card. Wow! The employee, not the manager, printed out the receipt . The manager saw me and did not bother apologizing for the misunderstanding. Hey , she just got a recurring customer who purchased a $100 gift card and did not even bother to acknowledge. Whoever owns this franchise store should look into hiring a new manager since this one has poor customer service.
I love coming to this location.
