Skip the food trucks outside and go right into the store! Authentic local options, something for everyone. The coconut shrimp and guava smoked pork (local surf and turf) were absolutely incredible. While you’re waiting for your food, check out the store and add some things to your bill, it can all be purchased at the same place. It might be intimidating to go into a place like this but support the local community, it’s a win-win with the delicious food!

This was my first time trying Kaya’s Kitchen meals. I had the Furikake Garlic Chicken ($10.99) which was perfect: garlic and salt were just right; mac salad and pickled cucumber were good; lots of rice. What a deal! It’s good for two meals! They cook to order; can sit on benches outside while waiting; she brought my order to me when it was done. Great service! I’ll go again!

We adore this spot and can’t wait to make it back. The staff is incredibly kind, the food is phenomenal, and the portions are huge for the price. There are tables outside to sit and eat, and it’s just a wonderful, cozy, low-fuss spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I dream of getting back to Oahu JUST for Kaya’s. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island!

Beautiful little store with a kitchen in the back that some fantastic local-style Hawaiian food, like home-made lau lau and Guava-smoked pork. Good stuff. Take-out food, but there are tables outside under a large tent and a couple of food trucks too.

We ordered 2 types of surf & turf! One with ahi and the other with shrimp. Both were very flavorful, but shrimp is definitely my favorite. Service was quick and the workers were friendly.

Visited last year when looking for the breakfast while driving the turtle bay. We had ahi and eggs and it was so delicious we had to come back this year too. Very friendly service, nice seating outside and the food is very very good. The food is truly made with love and you get that home feeling. The eggs with ahi is just the best discovery, I could never imagined that this combination would be good but this leave proved me wrong! Will come back to try other dishes too.

We walked over and ordered some dinner, quaint little place that’s fairly priced. Got your basics, alcohol, hot food, and snacks. Definitely will come back when I’m in the area
