My daughter and I stopped in after biking the Old Abe Trail. The shop is quaint and there is a large, yummy ice cream selection to choose from. Our server was very pleasant as well.

This seasonal place absolutely rocks. We were greeted upon entering and treated with much kindness and respect. We had a great conversation and was given a generous serving of cedar crest icecream…24 flavors to pick from. We consumed our icecream outside on a patio surrounded by beautiful flowers. There were also tables inside if we chose to stay inside. This establishment is one block from the Old Abe State Trail. Upon walking outside with our icecream, the owner told us he would happily fill our water bottles as we were getting ready to leave biking. When we left, he also gave us a few pieces of homemade carmel his wife made…nice!

Friendly and welcoming service, they had just locked the door for the night, but they let us in to order our ice cream treats on a hot and humid evening. It sure didn’t disappoint! Waffle cones with delicious ice cream proved to be the perfect treat. Definitely recommend!

Met a couple who said I need to stop here to get Ice cream so I did. Cash only & I only had $2 on me because I was bike riding. I got my scoop of ice cream. Owner was very friendly. Definitely a must stop for a delicious treat.

We stop for the yummy ice cream cones. There are several other places nearby to get cones, but we find this one the BEST!
A large variety of ice cream flavors with signage showing what ingredients are in each flavor. So, there’s never an unhappy surprise. Plenty of options on how you’d like to eat your delicious ice cream too! Cones, bowl, etc.
Service is always friendly!
There is also a variety of candy available too! Some meat options too in a refrigerator section. We found some excellent hot dogs!
I recommend stopping to enjoy a cone! They have both indoor and outdoor seating options.

We showed up at closing time on our way back to MN. The owners were so friendly, scooped up some delicious treats and sent us off with a smile. Highly recommend.
