I went to store #1657in Hoover, AL. The first time I visited was on a Sunday and Becca was the only employee there. Becca was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! She was friendly, kind, attentive, made my sandwich quickly and correctly without needing to ask me again. I just cannot stress enough how amazing Becca was that afternoon.
I returned to that location about 10 days later and Becca was there again with Orlando. Again, the service by both Becca and Orlando was nothing short of perfection. I don’t eat out often, but when I do, I will certainly have this Jimmy John’s location in mind, especially if Becca and Orlando are working that day. In a day and age where customer service is severely lacking in all industries, Becca and Orlando were a breath of fresh air.
Hopefully, someone from corporate reads this and rewards them accordingly, they both deserve the recognition.

I was very disappointed with my sandwich and my service. This was my first time ordering on line and my last. I had more bread, lettuce, and four tiny tomatoes. When I enter the store a guy spoke and didn’t offer to take my order. He was focused on rolling dough and less trying to serve me. If you would like your money’s worth go to Jersey Mikes.

The speed of Jimmy John’s service sets them apart. Your order is usually ready by then time you’ve paid for it. Add to that good tasting sandwiches with quality ingredients and a friendly staff and they have a winning combination. I really like the Hunters Club. The location is good. The dining area is not large.

Stopped in about 8:30 pm on 04/03/25; it seemed that only one person was working, “Becca”. She was busy cleaning and multi-tasking as I approached the counter to order, but she greeted me with a warm sincerity, & seemed eager to prepare my food. We exchanged pleasantries as I gave her the specifics for my sandwich, and she was very cordial in asking about how my day had been, and just had an overall great attitude. I apologized for coming in so late as I could tell she had been in the midst of closing duties, and I asked her about her day/week; I was shocked to learn that her father had passed away very recently! Her smile and attitude was so warm as she was preparing my food, I found it amazing that she was not mired in depression, much less working on a school night at 8:30 pm! My sandwich was ready *freaky fast* and prepared just as I had asked, and I grabbed a cookie and a bag of chips to go along with my late dinner. I told Becca I was truly sorry for her loss! Mere words cannot ever reach the depths of someone’s grief over losing a parent (or any loved one) so young, and I was not only amazed at her incredible attitude, but I was really at a loss over what to say to someone you’ve just met when learning about such a devastating loss. I say all of this to make a point: Becca’s warmth and sincerity to greet customers and perform her work so flawlessly and with such an amazing attitude is certainly a testament as to what kind of person she is, and Becca is an obvious asset to this Jimmy John’s location, as she would be to anyone that employed her. I hope staff and management recognize what a gem that Becca is. *post-script*…. my food was delicious and PERFECT.

They removed so many condiments since I last came here. I ask for a sub and it takes 20+ minutes to make it. On top of that, they don’t call my name once its made. I had no idea my order was called and the person at the front claimed that they did call my name even though they didnt.
That was the last time i go to Jimmy johns.

Thank you so much for my “salt, pepper, mayo, and turkey sandwich” but I ended Up with no salt, no pepper, no mayo and practically no turkey, I guess I’ll eat the bread.

I frequently order from Jimmy Johns and they are usually pretty quick (my office is almost right across the street, we are one red light down). The last 3 times there has either been something wrong with my meal or it has taken very long to get it. When I get to wanting JJ I say, I am gonna give them one more chance. Well this is the last time now. I ordered at 1:02pm, I called at 1:34pm just to check on my order and they said they had ran out of bread and just gotten some more and that my sandwich was being wrapped up to go out now and offered to upsize my drink & a bag of chips. 42 mins later I receive my order. They did upsize my drink but I ordered Sweet Tea and they gave me unsweet. All in all it took them over an hour and 20mins to get me my order

They hardly put tuna on my husband’s sandwich. We were nice and asked if we could get a little more…..and he said no, or I will and I’ll charge you. We had tipped them nicely and was disappointed in this service. And we usually go to that store each week!

I USED to be a regular customer, along with my employees but now for the second time in 3 orders, food is taking over an hour to arrive and the bread is soggy. So they are making it quickly and just letting it sit around. No warning at all, of course, that delivery may be slow- they want your money anyway. Don’t bother to call the manager to complain- he doesn’t care. You are better off contacting the corporate office, as I have.
