We had a cantina bowl and the Brush Pile, which is one of all of their tacos. Food was good and I love the decor. The raspberry cake was like a fudge round on steroids.

We stopped for lunch in rustic cantina on a rainy day. The shrimp and fish tacos as well as chicken quesadilla were delicious.
Their patio is dog-friendly and it’s covered against rain. It was a bit chilly though
Highly recommend this place

Ordered the 10 taco plate and every taco was good. Service was awesome, very friendly staff, cool environment, cold beer, lots of options for drinks and food. Prices are good. Definitely will be coming back more often to try new items on the menu. Thanks y’all.

We go to the location at Six Shooter on Lake Tenkiller. Decided to try out the restaurant in Vian! It did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, friendly and fun staff, clean restrooms, there is a back area with a small patio on the back of the building. But we sat inside and watched the tv’s and enjoyed the AC! It was hot today! Queso is very creamy! Guacamole was creamy as well. Normally like chunky quac but this had good flavor. The food came out in a timely manner. It was hot and the flavors were consistent with the other location. I was pleased about this, because we had some family come up and see us and they love Mexican food and I told them it would not disappoint! And it did not! The only thing that I would say they could improve on was the size of the cups they use. I like the bigger wider cups so they don’t have to fill it up so much. And if that’s my only complaint, then you’re doing something right! The rustic nachos are one of the best deserts I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. The chips had the texture of sopapillas! I wasn’t ready for that! We got them to go because everyone was ready to pass out in the restaurant! The portions are big! The burrito was huge, and yes I took it down! I had the meat sweats the whole way home! But did dip into the desert nachos! Well done guys! Thank you to the staff and if your around Vian or even in I40 trying to find a place to go, 100% Rustic Cantina won’t disappoint!

Such a little gem! We were passing through town and stopped here for dinner. We got the taco sampler and tried all of the tacos…9 tacos for $29….can’t beat that. The tacos are big and loaded with meat and toppings. Some of them were so unique and they were amazing! We live in Dallas with awesome restaurants on every corner, so when we travel, our expectations are low. This restaurant is as good as restaurants in the big city. It has a great vibe. The margarita was ok…if they added some fresh lime juice, that would make it even better. Definitely stop here and try this place.

Passing through on 40 and decided to try some tacos. Really nice place, well designed and excellent tacos.
Only thing missing is a signature sauce like avocado ranch or a creamy chipotle. Hot sauce for chips pretty bland but still 5 stars here.
All in all worth the time to stop.

As my choice for the best restaurant in Sequoyah County, Rustic Cantina has an excellent selection of Mexican food and drinks, all served up in a clean, vibrant setting. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable (especially considering the quality of the food).
I strongly recommend the chicken taco as well as the catfish taco. If you’re with a friend and feeling adventurous (and very hungry), you may as well go ahead and order the “Brush Pile” to give each of their tacos a choice. You won’t be disappointed in the least!

We finally decided to try Rustic Cantina. It’s definitely more Tex-Mex, but it was really good. I had the Indian Taco, and it was a really nice mix of soft and crunchy bread. The chips were store bought, but they were the best chips. Crunchy, but it seemed to melt in your mouth. The salsa was very thick and flavorful and even a bit warm to hot. The kind of heat that builds up over time. My husband had the Smoke Show Taco which is smoked brisket. He said they were pretty damn good, so I tried a bite. They are pretty damn good. My only complaint is the sweet tea wasn’t sweet enough. Not bad for the small town of Vian, OK.

We ate here 2 times in 3 days. Everything we ordered both times was great. We loved the atmosphere. This is a restaurant you would expect to see in a bigger city. I would highly recommend this place. It is a real gem.

Came across this gem on one of our trips to Lake Tenkiller. Needless to say, we are hooked! The drinks were perfect and we couldn’t decide on the tacos so we got The Pile (one of each). Every taco was unique in its own way and bursting with flavor. We tell everyone about this place and look forward to each lake trip just so we can stop in and eat here.
