Easy to get your money’s worth with AYCE. The space is clean and well-lit. Went on a week day early evening and it was empty, but saw many delivery/pick-up orders during the 2 hour time limit. Server was kind and not pushy. No fuss and simple ordering: for AYCE, they take away the big menus and give you a sheet to mark down what you want.
Ordered a miso soup, cucumber salad, Norwegian salmon salad, vegetable tempura, 7 pieces of nigiri, a peppered salmon roll, Milwaukee roll, and Pinky Lady roll. Fish was fresh, none of that funk you get from fish that has been sitting too long. Fried food was crisp and lightly seasoned so didn’t feel heavy. Made it satisfying and easy to eat everything. Added an order of popcorn chicken, too. What can I say, I was in the mood for fried food and with AYCE, might as well indulge the craving. Buying a sushi boat platter at another sushi spot can easily cost $35+ and that’s not including sides or appetizers. There were so many options, I definitely want to go back and try more of the menu. Soda and mochi ice cream were also included in the price, but you can buy alcoholic beverages and cocktails separately.
Would recommend, whether for AYCE or their regular menu!

The food was delicious. I ordered the pan fried chicken dumpling and the shrimp dumplings. Right now they have buy one get one on Uber eats. The delivery process was smooth and reliable. I also ordered the molten chocolate cake and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Late night order where I wanted Chinese but also Thai. Fast forward to Tom Yum soup, and combo fried rice and Hunan beef. I am guilty of late night orders where I hope this one is better than the next, BUT LET ME TELL YOU THEY DELIVERED. Like told my dogs I found my new fave place. INSANELY GOOD. Order ASAP

This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when in the Chicago area. We walked 2.5 miles to get there at opening time. The restaurant staff is very welcoming. We started with damage, miso soup, and tuna tataki. My main course was kow chicken with white rice. My husband is vegan. He ordered Japanese fried rice w/o egg and the vegetarian roll with ginger sauce. Our food was so plentiful. My tuna tataki had 6 pieces, and the kow chicken could be shared if applicable. The fried rice was also shareable, and the vegetable roll was 10 pieces. They generously refilled ginger sauce and Wasabi requests. We had to box up our leftovers. They even provided some courtesy white rice for the to go portion. Our total with food and a diet coke was $72. Fortune cookies given at time of payment.

My boyfriend and I came here in 2019 with a Groupon and came back recently as a date to revisit! We remember how great the food was. We loved the sushi and ramen (highly recommend the tonkatsu). The staff were very sweet and for those interested in any drinks, they have several options to choose from.

Service was fast and friendly, sushi was delicious, and you can’t beat the AYCE deal. The seaweed salad is ginormous and the shumai are small but yummy. We will definitely be back for more!!

We were happy to stumble across this place. Excellent food, good choice of food options – love the names of the rolls they do! The Chicago Roll was superb but next time I will try the Sexy Mexican. The service was friendly and quick and there was a nice atmosphere with upbeat music.

Awesome service! Tomas provided us with the best options to order tonight, he suggested best rolls with eel and we also ordered nigiri. Will definitely come back for sushi and Hakutsuru wine! Not many places have this type of plum wine, but Jieyi Sushi does and I was surprised!
