Wow wow wow! As my daughter and I approached the restaurant, you can smell the aroma of garlic and herbs from outside in the parking lot! I knew right away this place would be amazing from that alone. Not only did we get a seat immediately which was completely unexpected, but for 3 appetizers, two plates, and two drinks in which 1 was imported, and it coming out to only $72 and change? I was impressed! Especially since this was literally the most mind-blowing, life altering experience I’ve had with ramen in my life thus far. I believe my server was Kevin (as stated on the receipt), and he was just truly great. He genuinely wanted to know if we were satisfied; it didn’t come off cliche or platitude whatsoever. But all I could say in exchange was, “ Oh, my goodness!” And he started cracking up. I was speechless, all jokes aside. The food was really amazing. And there’s something to be said when you can truly taste that the food is fresh and the kitchen is clean. I wish we had a word for that in English. Seriously. I am certain to return here!! I ate too much and left no space for dessert, in which they had a large variety of mochi both dairy AND vegan! I can’t count how many times I rolled my eyes to the back of my head, or how many times I said “Wow!”, or even did a little dance while I ate from how yummy it was. Just delicious!
Just keep in mind that this place is in a plaza where other shops thrive as well, so it’s semi-difficult to find parking depending on the time of day. We still found a spot, just at the other side of the parking lot which was pretty much down the block. No big deal. And worth it, truly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Solid ramen shop .. will definitely come back. You can tell the broth is legit. Deep, layered flavors you get after simmering for hours. Perfect balance of noodles and toppings. Read reviews of small portions but didn’t think that was the case. Their fried chicken is also stellar.

I’ve been a regular at Menya’s Metuchen location, so when I saw their Ridgewood branch pop up on Google Maps, I thought why not?
✨ The vegan ramen? It absolutely SLAPS. No exaggeration, this is hands down the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. And I don’t say that lightly I take my ramen very seriously.
On top of that, Sylvia, who was handling the entire place by herself, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her warmth genuinely made my day. People like her are what make dining out feel special. Thank you, Sylvia!
I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.

I wanted some Ramen so I stopped here for lunch. Great little surprise. I got the lunch special it was good. Really good broth and flavor. i also got some tempura octopus it was amazing. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back.

Came in for lunch and split the ‘couple set’ with my sister—it included three appetizers and a bowl of ramen each, absolutely worth it! I got the seafood ramen (minus the prawns) which was so good, plus takoyaki , dumplings , and karaage . My sister got the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen and we absolutely DEVOURED everything (we were fatties today ‼️) The food was great, and the waitress/hostess was excellent! She was very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come here again, highly recommend!!

Menya Ramen is my favorite Ramen place in Bergen County NJ. The broth is so flavorfully crafted. I ordered the extra tofu which is homemade. It is delicious! It was served with precious saffron spice. This is Vegan ramen at its best! Yummy!!

Very good ramen! Two solid vegan options – my sister and I each had one and they were both delicious. Good portion sizes, and the blistered shishito peppers made for a tasty appetizer. The staff were very friendly and inviting, the vibes inside were great!

Went her with my bf for dinner, waiter was very friendly. They had a couples set option which was enough food to feed 2 people with some food left over in our case. All the food was very tasty. It was a very cozy atmosphere. Well definitely be back!
