Don’t get me wrong. We’re glad we went here. We’ve been wanting to go to Shake Shack for years. Sometimes places just don’t live to the hype and this is a perfect example.
Was the food OK? Yes. Was the service OK? Yes. Someone even came and gave us a refill, which we appreciated especially when a fast food soft drink costs four dollars.
My quibble isn’t with food in the service. Is this a good value for your money? No, in our opinion. Shake Shack is marginally better than Steak ‘n Shake for three times the price. $62 for lunch for 2 consisting of two burgers, two sides, two soft drinks, and one shared small shake just wasn’t worth it for us. Your mileage may vary. And there may be cheaper options that we didn’t try.
So again: while we’re glad we finally went there, we don’t plan on returning anytime soon. Even Portillo’s across the street, not known for its cheap food, was a better value and still has better food even if it’s not as good as it was 10 years ago.

Shout out to the Oak Lawn location! Everytime I come here I receive EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! The food is always fresh and everyone is always so nice! Today I utilized the drive up window Zeek thank you so much for your kindness, having a sucky day and wanted to cheer myself up with Shake Shack! I’m glad I decided to come here! We got the bacon double and regular shake burger to go, also got the Dubai chocolate bar shake; just about 30 bucks so pretty pricey for what we got. The burgers were fine but bland, kinda felt like a mix between McDonald’s and steak and shake except missing the seasoning; when packaged to go they’re put in the little tray on a tilt so by the time you get home they’re essentially the leaning tower of burger with the toppings spilling out. Honestly nothing special
The limited time dubai chocolate bar shake was quite the expensive disappointment, the chocolate doesn’t really crack at all, nor does it mix in easily so it’s purely decorative. The straw doesn’t clog so that was impressive, there is khatifa/shredded pastry throughout the drink so it is a very chunky shake. The flavor was again very bland, the flavor was essentially soggy mocha wafer cookies. This was also just about 11 bucks for what most places may consider a medium shake size.

The food is good but it is ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the money. The burger literally fits in my hand and my hands are small. There was a total of 6 onion rings in the container. Pretty much $1 a ring. Nope not worth it. #Overpriced.

My husband and I came in last night around 8PM with our two toddlers. As soon as we stepped in we were greeted graciously and kindly! We were asked if we needed anything to please the workers know. We sat down and waited for our food. It was a great experience. Customer service was great and shout out to Zeek for just making our experience all the better!!! This was a great experience. We will be back soon !!!

We finally stopped by to try it. Burgers were good, but nothing special. They tasted similar to Culver’s or Steak N Shake. Fries were pretty good. Best item of all was the limited time option Onion Rings. They were amazing. Definitely top two of onion rings I’ve had. Shakes were good too. Main complaint is price seems a little high for what you get, but honestly that’s probably just the area.

They were literally robbed (well, someone came in and stole food, snatched it from an employees hands). The service varies a lot from asking us to order at the cash register to tell you to order at the kiosk. The tables never seem all that clean. I do think they have one of the best smash burgers out there .

Placed an order and wasn’t able to leave my house within the timeframe expected and when I was finally able to leave I realized it had been an hour since I had placed my order. I called to see if there was any way to get my order remade so it was fresh and Jen the manager was sooo kind and helpful! Very understanding and was able to remake it for me. So delighted with her friendly customer service. Every time I come they are extremely nice!
