I stumbled across this place after a long day of work and looking for a place to grab a quick bite. I don’t live in the area so I picked a random place and I was pleasantly surprised. The guy working there was very friendly and brought me some chips while I waited to take my food to go. Then he even offered me a dessert which was a nice touch.
When I got home, the Lamb Vindaloo I ordered was one of the best ones I’ve had in the city. The portion was huge and my food tasted very fresh. I definitely will be ordering from this place again and will recommend this place to all my friends

I ordered the butter chicken combo with rice and naan, along with a mango lassi, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced without being overpowering. The portion size was generous, and the naan had that soft, chewy texture you want with just the right crisp on the edges.
The mango lassi was smooth, creamy, and refreshing, great balance of sweet and tangy. Honestly one of the better meals I’ve had recently, and it really hit the spot.
Service was fast, food was hot and fresh, and the whole experience just felt like comfort in a tray. Highly recommend!

This is by far my favourite place in the city! The butter chicken is always delicious, and the naan is the best I’ve ever had! My friends and I go back every week! The owner, Deependra, is very kind and pleasant to be around. Highly recommend!

This really has nice food! The butter chicken is delicious..very nicely balanced. Rich. The portions of naan and rice are generous..maybe a few more chunks of chicken would be nice, but otherwise, it’s smashing! Lovely gentleman that oversees the shop. Would definitely recommend!

Do not sleep on this spot. Yeah it’s not super fancy inside and the menu isn’t massive but every dish is awesome. Best butter chicken I’ve had. The owner cooks everything himself and is an award winning chef. He’s extremely friendly and ensures you’re happy. Support small business and do yourself a favor by checking this place out. The food and service are both fantastic!

My girlfriend and I got the butter chicken combo with the veggie samosas as our appetizer. The portions were huge and delicious! The owner was very very kind and made sure we were taken care of! This is a great place to grab a delicious meal with generous portions for a great price. We were even gifted the mango custard and rice pudding as desserts on the house! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Got take out from butter chicken and more and it was delicious! They are located in a little plaza area. I would highly recommend the cauliflower 65! It’s cauliflower that is battered and covered in a sweet and tangy sauce. The butter chicken combo was good as well!

Ordered take out. Food came well packaged and big portions. The food is fresh and incredibly flavourful. The deep fried pakora and butter chicken samosa’s were also excellent and obviously cooked in fresh oil!

Being long time lovers of Guru in the west end, we had to try the food here.
The owner/chef is very welcoming and attentive. The food is really good with a few small exceptions. The chicken biryani was superb, the chicken was perfection and the spices were just right. The butter chicken sauce is the best I’ve ever had however, the chicken seemed to be tandoori chicken added to the sauce which made the chicken a little chewy/spongy. The cauliflower 65 is excellent. Overall I would rate everything as a 4.8 but will stick with the 5/5. We’ll be back!
Update: We’ve ordered several times since my first review. The food just gets better each time. I had made a comment about the butter chicken being a little chewy. That has since been rectified and is now even better. I really appreciate the willingness of an already top chef to take feedback in such a positive way. Impressive!
