Honey-Dip Fingerz is strictly a takeout spot, but the storefront is tastefully decorated, and the seating area with couches makes the short wait comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient, and all items are made to order, which resulted in about a 10–15 minute wait.
For this visit, I ordered the Egusi Soup (Goat), Jollof Rice (Goat), Jollof Rice (Chicken), plantains, and a Bowl of Goat Meat, along with Malta and Chapman for beverages.
Both versions of the jollof rice were very good and were the highlight of the meal. The Egusi soup, however, wasn’t to my or my family’s personal taste, though others may enjoy it depending on their preferences.
Overall, the food tasted fresh, the quality was solid, and the service was genuinely warm. I would especially recommend the jollof rice with your choice of protein—paired with a Malta, it makes a great lunch or dinner combination. I look forward to stopping by again, as the combination of good service and freshly prepared food is worth appreciating.

In my original review, I indicated that my order was missing an item. Seeing the restaurant’s note below, I went back to my receipt and found that I had misread the line item of peppered goat as à la carte, rather than as part of the dish, and erroneously said they had forgotten the item, when in fact they had gotten my order correct. I apologize for the error and have amended my review to correct this error.

I ordered a goat dish with jollof rice. The flavors were good and I really appreciate how clean they are. The kitchen looks SPOTLESS! ✨But the goat meat was so chewy and portion was tiny for the price. I’ll have to try another dish and maybe order fish or beef instead of goat.

We wanted to try Nigerian food for a very long time and we noticed a spot was nearby so we stopped by! Awesome customer service! When it comes to the food, amazing! We had Smokey Jollof Rice, Pepper chicken, and pepper goat. God willing we’ll be returning to take more of the menu! You will not me an ex customer! Thank you for bringing the taste of Nigerian cuisine! Blessings to you all and your endeavors!

My church catered from this place and the food was super good! The chicken was my favorite, it was very well seasoned and fell off the bonee! The jollof rice I give it a 4/5, I feel like the tomato mixture to rice ratio was a bit more, but still good nonetheless! Lastly, the fried rice was also good, I think it could be seasoned a bit better, but other than that very very yum! i can’t speak too much on the atmosphere as the food I had was catered, but I’m sure it would have been lovely!

It was my first time trying Honey-Dip Fingerz, so I needed help ordering because I didn’t fully understand the menu. I’ve had African food before and really enjoy it, but I wasn’t sure how their ordering worked. The menu said the dish came with meat, but when I ordered from a young girl at the counter, she asked if I wanted meat for an extra charge. That confused me, so I said no. She mentioned it came with fufu, which I was happy about.
I ordered it to-go and got egusi soup with fufu. I know African food can be a bit expensive, so I wasn’t surprised the total was about $35. However, the meat was very tough and inedible, so I ended up throwing it away. The egusi soup had good flavor, but overall, I’ve had a better experience ordering egusi from other African restaurants through Uber Eats.

Ordered the goat, chicken gizzard, plantains, and one chicken thigh to go.
When I arrived, the door was locked—seemed like they were short-staffed that day, and a young child ended up taking my order.
Goat: Completely impossible to chew. I literally had to cook it down for another hour at home just to make it edible.
Chicken gizzard: Also very tough and rubbery with almost no flavor. I had to cook these again along with the goat.
Jollof rice: Undercooked.
Chicken thigh: Small for the price. I don’t care if it’s organic or farm-raised—still not worth it.
Plantains: Not the sweet, caramelized kind at all. These were dry and almost cardboard-like. If that’s your preference, great, but it wasn’t mine.
For the price I paid and the extra time I had to spend re-cooking most of the food, it was unacceptable.
Honestly, I’m glad we grabbed a gyro from another spot in the same plaza while waiting, because otherwise we would’ve been starving with a box of rubbery food.

We have a strong Nigerian-American presence in our church, and we wanted to highlight their culture for our congregation during World Communion Day, so I reached out to Honey-Dip Fingerz to see if they would cater lunch for us. They were extremely communicative — following up quickly with great food recommendations. We ended up with spring rolls, puff puff, jollof rice, and chicken wings to feed 150 people, and everything arrived hot and filled the entire sanctuary with the most delicious aromas. The food was beautifully prepared and packaged for easy transport, and everyone had the most wonderful things to say about the food. I will absolutely be ordering again from them and I look forward to the next event we can cater with them in the future. Top notch all around — service, communication, food, and overall experience. Highly recommend.

Best Nigerian food and customer service in Dallas, TX. Had a last minute trip to Dallas. Called this restaurant while I was boarding and the customer service over the phone was excellent- very impressive. Had Uber pick up and I arrived at my hotel and the same time as the Uber(package) delivery- distance was from McKinney, TX to the Arts district.
Food was neatly packed. No sipping and every package was upright in the bag- Ordered Amala with gberiri and ewedu. The Amala was soft and hot on arrival, the Gbegiri was thick(not watery) and so could actually taste the beans and I could actually taste the ewedu too.
Was unable to taste the snail and Asun. Will freeze and take back home in the morning because I had like 8 pieces of meat in my meal(couldn’t finish either)- bowl of Amala and meat was very generous and can be shared~ over all, I’d give a 5/5.

Nice tasting Nigerian food. Take out only. Pepper fish is served steak cut style(1) per order. Pepper turkey (grill cut) is (1) Turkey wing per order. Pricing for soup is a little high considering you will have to thaw and reheat some items at home. Portion to price ratio still needs a little work.
