This was my first time going to Island Fin Poke and it was such an amazing experience! The owner Jaime was so friendly and sweet during the entire order! I had a sudden craving for poke since my last trip to Hawaii but I never found the right place to order from here in CT. If you want authentic amazing tasting poke definitely visit them! It was the perfect combo of flavors, textures and the best spicy chili oil ! He even let me taste their delicious dole whip!! 100% recommend!

Amazing place, my new favorite! Fresh, healthy, so much flavor, and gluten free! Very clean, very friendly, well designed (love the real surfboards on the wall and wood tables). Emily assembled my bowl, taking time to explain options and different flavors and had an opinion on what went well together which I appreciated. While I as there several return customers came in who shared my sentiment of what a great place it is, and so did a bunch of food delivery drivers. JD the owner was there to welcome people, make sure the assembly station was stock and in good order, and happy to talk about the sourcing for all the ingredients. Lastly, they offer a pineapple Dole Whip to finish which is dairy and gluten free – perfect ending to an amazing lunch bowl. If you’re in the Cos Cob area, do yourself a favor a give this place a try.

Island Fin Poke is one of my favorite poke bowl places I’ve visited in CT so far! Not only was it super clean and the ingredients so fresh, but the service I received really stood out to me. For being a new place that hasn’t even been open a week, the staff was exceptional. Even though I’ve had poke bowls before, I really appreciated that one of their staff members took the time to guide me through the process of choosing my proteins, mix ins, toppings, and sauces, while even throwing in her personal recommendations. Because she took some extra time out of her day to make me not feel rushed, I ended up having one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had because it was actually full of the ingredients I enjoy! My boyfriend really enjoyed his bowl too. He was even adventurous and tried the octopus, and he was glad he did. The dole whip was super refreshing – mixed with orange, it was a great tropical treat! I’m going to be sure to tell anyone looking for a great poke bowl to visit Island Fin.

I don’t usually post reviews but I just had to for this place! The owner was so personable! He walked us through every step of building our own bowl, the food was fresh, and everything was delicious. I also eat gluten & dairy free and that was not a problem here! We were then given complimentary dole soft serve. I’m so glad we stopped in. Seriously exceeded expectations! I can’t wait to be a regular customer here!

My new favorite place ever since moving to this part of town! The poke bowls are delicious and the fish tastes super fresh. It’s reasonably priced given how expensive this type of food can be. I always get the ahi tuna and spicy tuna in a bowl and of course some pineapple dole whip!

Best poke in CT – by a landslide. Only wish I had tried it sooner! The ingredients are so fresh, the service is exceptional! Jessica made my bowl – her service was above what I receive at upscale restaurants in town. She was friendly, explained each item and it’s ingredients, as well as a description of the tastes of each. You can tell she really understood the menu and was offering genuine recommendations. After such a pleasant experience with Jessica having already sold me on the shop, to taste the bowl and it be delicious was icing on the cake! If you’re in Stamford it is worth the extra drive for this place, and the prices are great! I will definitely be back soon and spread the word to friends/family! Thank you Jessica!

Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by Jessica. As a newcomer who had heard about this place from a friend, she inquired about my origin, and we had a brief chat.
Jessica’s exceptional communication skills and hospitality truly impressed me. She provided detailed explanations about the menu, including gluten-free options and the food preparation process. I also expressed my interest in their soda machine and ice cream. To top it off, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner.
