I was a sweetgreen fan until this happened. There was live bug crawling in my salad. It was an extremely disturbing and harrowing experience. I had stomach ache for 4 hours after and my throat still itches. I have already reached out to the support teams and they are saying they will take precautions to ensure this does not happen again. BUT wanted to share a PSA to please check your bowls before you dig in them. I’m going to avoid sweetgreen for a while now. Just utterly disgusted at the sight of this

Went in-person at 12PM to grab lunch, ordered the Caramelized Garlic Steak protein plate. ️ The line went very quick and did not have to wait long to get my food. The bowl was yummy (good spicy broccoli, sweet potatoes, and pesto sauce), but the steak was GREY.

The line is absolutely atrocious. Weekday lunch rush consists of every finance and tech bro in downtown Manhattan trying their damnedest to order a $17 to seem “healthy”. Waited an hour for my order which should’ve taken 20 minutes to complete. I don’t blame the staff though, way too much demand and simply too many orders coming in to keep up. The salads are surprisingly good. I’m just gonna stick to my wraps and sandwiches from now on. Salads ain’t ever keeping me full either, that’s just how it is. Y’all be easy, and stay safe out here in these streets.

Perfect salad, super fresh with great variety of options, pretty large portion and decent price, excellent choice for a healthy meal. I had BBQ chicken salad and my wife got the crispy rice bowl, we really enjoyed our meal.

My first time visiting this location, and I had a great experience. I ordered the Crispy rice bowl and it was delicious—fresh and made very well. Everyone there was kind and generous, and Erick did an awesome job putting my bowl together. I’m looking forward to going back soon.

This location is perpetually running behind the promised time, I come here every week during lunch time and my order is handed out constantly >20 mins later than the promised time. If you guys are so understaffed, hire more people. This is such a high traffic location with so many corporate employees in the area and SG is a hotspot for office workers to grab a quick lunch. I even try to order outside the traditional noon lunch rush hour and still ridiculously late.

I came to the store an hour before closing. The workers were nice when I walked in, and I’ve gotten this bowl once before at the other Sweetgreen location near chambers. I got home and open my bowl to see the portions are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than what they should be. I remembered it to me significantly more hearty and generous, and so I come to Google and find that even in the reviews for this SAME LOCATION you can see what the portions for the carmelized steak bowl should be. This bowl costs about $18-20 and I got maybe half the portions it should be.
The small portioned bowl pictured is what I received and the bowl picture bigger portions are screenshotted from another customer’s review on Google. Disappointing. If I could receive a refund I would!

Title: Disappointing Experience at Sweet Green – WTC Location
I’m usually a big fan of Sweet Green for its fresh and healthy options, but my recent visit to the Wall Trade Center location left much to be desired. Firstly, the service was notably slow despite the place not being overly crowded. I waited more than 30 minutes for my salad, which is far from the quick and efficient service I’ve come to expect from Sweet Green. Also I Ordered brown rice for my harvest bowl and instead they put baby spinach I found hair in it and also a piece of of bone from chicken really that really unacceptable and I had to throw our the salad could even eat it! I don’t know why they did not follow my order and think it ok add whatever they want I did ask for it! I don’t know if I be returned to this local sadly!! The harvest bowl I did not request green at all ! I even saw you my receipt when got it! I was in rush I did have a chance to check the salad until I was home! Not a great experience at all ! I go to your locationsl a lot since it next to my college but today experience I do not know I be returning sorry
