Bright, laid-back eatery offering a plant-based menu with nukazuke & tempeh, plus kombucha flights.

Great spot for kombucha. Welcoming staff, fun atmosphere, crazy fun drink options. Favorite flavors so far have been their award winning one, the Jasmin and the sarsaparilla. Also this one with pineapple was great. Love the flight option; all flavors for 17$ is perfect for 2 ppl to share. They also sell kimchi.
Parking is fairly easy, parallel on the street.

A friend made dinner reservations for us last night (3/28/25). When we arrived we were greeted by the owner William who seemed genuinely excited to have us. The location is bright, warm, and welcoming. As he personally prepared each dish for us the smells were absolutely mouth watering. Although I had no idea what was coming next I was excited for each new dish. He put great care into describing the flavors and ingredients that went into each of his Kombuchas as well as the dishes. So many of the ingredients were grown or foraged by William himself, growing and foraging goods deepens your understanding of the ingredients. This was so obvious in the way each was lovingly and thoughtfully prepared. He presented so many new and unique flavors that were an absolute delight to experience. You can certainly tell this man has an incredible passion for food and community. As we ate, folks stopped by to enjoy kombucha and congratulate him on his 1st anniversary at the location on Jefferson. Surviving your first year of business is a significant feat, he and his team should be proud! We all need community, a deeper understanding of our food systems, and of course amazing flavors to inspire our creativity and bring joy to our daily lives. Confluence Kombucha achieves all of this and I am so thankful for the meal we enjoyed last night. I left feeling so inspired and grateful for the experience. I highly recommend you give them a visit and experience it for yourself!
Apologies for the lackluster photography, I was too busy being present and enjoying the moment!

My husband and I found out about Confluence recently, and they’re our new fav kombucha dealer!! William and Sam were very accommodating. Also love the vibe in the shop.
On our first visit, we got samplers of all 12 flavors on the menu. Sam explained to us the ingredients in each drink and even the origins of certain ingredients. It was hard to pinpoint our fav coz they’re all so good!
Appreciate William’s passion for his kombucha, and the business itself. He even let us try some of the fresh ingredients that he grew himself.
I don’t think I could ever go back to store-bought kombucha after having the freshly made ones from this store.

Popped by the shop on Jefferson and had a great time. Got two of the flights, so I pretty much tasted everything! The owner William was a stand-up guy and talked nonstop about every aspect of the process. It was so fascinating to hear a mad genius at work. I left with 6 bottles as I could not just pick one flavor! This will be a new regular stop

Spectacular! The dishes are elegantly presented, the flavors are so bright and fresh, and the service was excellent. Take everyone’s advice & order the curry. I ordered a flight of kombucha because I’d never tried it before. Some of the flavors were a little too wild for me, but they were all interesting and I did find a couple I liked. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant!

I visited Confluence Kombucha in February of 2017. It was an awesome experience and the food was delicious. Beware that this is a small space & the people seated next to you are so close they can hear your conversation and you theirs. But if you enjoy Kombucha and you want to try vegetarian/vegan cuisine, being in a small space is worth it. My least favorite dish was the tempeh, but I never liked tempeh. It says something about the restaurant if I was willing to try a dish that I knowingly do not like. I was hoping they’re success with the other dishes would spill over to tempeh, but no it didn’t.

Okay, so I’m not anything close to a vegan but I tried it and I liked it! Yeah, you heard me right! The place indoors is a little small but they Do have a nice little outdoors patio. Lot of kombucha to choose. Hope you, like me can try them, I don’t think you’ll be sorry.

Probably one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time. I home brew kombucha, so it was great to taste some new combinations and you can tell a lot of love goes into both their brewing and their cuisine. Our food was incredible and well thought out, I was a bit nervous to try new dishes I’ve never heard of, but it was so worth it! They clearly seek to not only feed you, but nourish your body with wholesome food.

Waitress was very knowledgeable. Kombucha super yummy. Alters are beautiful. Vegetarian friendly. If you’re going for food this place is not cheap by any means and probably not somewhere to get full. This someone to have a lovely experience or to drink Kombucha but not to grab lunch in personal opinion. Really enjoyed it though.

Call it hipster, call it whatever, just go try it. The kombucha is all very flavorful and varied. If you haven’t had Kombucha before, start out with the best in the area and come here. In addition to the amazing drinks, they also feature an amazing menu full of delicious options, from miso pickled mushrooms to kimchi stuffed avocado, you can’t pick wrong! Everything is made with high quality ingredients and prepared with care. Come for the Kombucha, but don’t miss out on the amazing food!
