It’s a great deli in St James, I loved the pancakes and American sandwich, the guy working there I think the owner does his best to make several orders at once when he’s short handed, so I understand if there’s a wait sometimes, overall a good experience

Food is beyond delicious as soon as I walked inside, I was greeted by a man who seemed to be the owner and he was very friendly and seem to enjoy conversation with his customers. I will definitely be back to try some more food on the menu and had an overall five star experience.

One of the worst deli sandwiches Ever. I ordered Turkey, lettuce, tomato, salt/pepper, and mayo on a roll. Ok no brainer. First off very pricey, over $7.00. When I took a bite the quantity of Turkey was at least 2 slices and 4 pieces of chopped up lettuce. The tomato was piled on to at least 6 slices. I have no idea how they are still in business. Completely disappointing. Customer service was ok but I will not come back.

I can’t speak for everyone and their experiences… But one of my good friends introduced me to this place. For my friend and I, we were treated with nothing but hospitality. Quick service. The staff were patient with us. No issues at all. And the food is great. Clean. Can’t ask for better than that. I’m sorry to hear the negative reviews.

Ordered over medium egg sandwich and it came over easy got all over me. Went to use the bathroom it was employee only. Went out to my car to clean up. For a place with a dine in option a bathroom for public use would be nice. Food was good just wouldn’t want to dine in again.

Guy behind the counter is nasty. I shouldn’t have to ask hows it going when i walk into your establishment before you do. If i am the only person in the place i shouldn’t have to wait 5 minutes to pick up a sandwich that i ordered over the phone while you give me an attitude . Maybe he was just having a bad day it happens but he’s not a pleasant person to talk to. The sandwich was good though. Place is clean i wont completely write them off but that customer service needs work. I will try again down the line but there are a lot of other places in the area just saying

I love this deli. It’s always as clean as it can possibly be. The sandwiches awesome and generous portions. They put a handful of bacon on the egg sandwich.
Most of all I appreciate the way the owners support the Veterans in the community by offering a discount every day to Veterans. I hate to say it but this is such a rarity these days. Thank you so much. Me and my family just moved into the area and we’re proud to do business with folks like you.

My name is Steve… My son always goes to this deli for his chicken cutlet hero and he always gets me a eggs bacon and cheese hero… It’s always good.
Today (9/19) I went there for the first time since they reopened… I’m met a really nice gentleman along with a very nice young female worker. They were friendly welcoming and exactly what you’re looking for in a small town deli friendly interaction and a good sandwich.
I drove to Stony Brook Harbor and ate my roast beef hero with everything on it.
It was fantastic… I noticed there are not many negative reviews about this deli and the ones that are negative seem to be old….
The newer reviews of this deli seem to be very positive.
I have to give this deli two thumbs up.
The gentleman and the young lady behind the counter or pleasant and the sandwich was absolutely delicious I will be back there tomorrow for lunch.. I highly recommend you give this place a try the people behind the counter up great and the food and the selection is equally as great!
