We drove over two hours from Kansas City, MO down to Wichita, KS to try this restaurant and it was more than worth the drive! The food was amazing. Everything came out hot and tasted great. We had the bayou gumbo, cravin’ haven pasta, and loaded cajun fries. The staff was very friendly and the owner showed great hospitality. If i could give this place 10 stars i definitely would. If you’re in the Wichita area or nearby, definitely stop by!

Went to Haven for Impromptu Date Night. To be honest, I was a little hesitant because I read a few bad reviews after they opened, but I’m sure opening a new restaurant is difficult and kinks need to be worked out. Soooo glad we waited.
The moment I stepped in and saw our Waitress Kandace, I KNEW we were going to have amazing service at least. We placed our drink and food order. I ordered the espresso martini and my date ordered the punch….both tasted delicious and got straight to the point lol. We ordered two each (but that’s my business ) Once our food arrived, it was hot, fresh and smelled divine. We shared a few bites of our meal before we completely devoured it lol. By the end, both of our plates looked like we licked them clean. My only regret is not getting the bigger portion like our waitress suggested.
The music was good, the ambiance was romantic, the restaurant itself was a little cold on the inside but once the fan kicked off the temperature was perfect.
I HIGHLY recommend this place. Take someone you love. ❤️

Quaint, local Southern/Cajun restaurant in Wichita’s Old Town Square, nothing quite like this in WIchita. It just opened late September 2025. Owner, Kasi Ross, personally welcomed us. Give it a try…and be patient.
Great ambiance, lighting, and music for cocktails and dinner. Perfectly shaken Gin Martini with generous portions at a good price.

The Cajun-spiced Blackened Catfish was excellent, served with creole crème sauce, dirty rice with little sausage (Andouille?), and fried okra. Next time: Catfish and spaghetti with gumbo!

In all the places I’ve been to recently, Haven has been a delightful nugget of discovery that would be hard to top. From the atmosphere to the food coupled with the amazing customer service tailored to each guest. It is a place that is hard to beat by most, though they are small. My belief is that they can definitely compete with all the large restaurants around town. If you have time this place is a must for good vibe, great food and excellent service. Candice was our server and she made our experience top notch.

Went for dinner with friends so was able to try a little bit of everything! The food was amazing! So was the service and the vibes! Our drinks were really good as well. If you’re looking for a great take on soul food with some class, this is the spot! Definitely filling a void in Wichita! Cant wait to go back and try the brunch!

Let me just start with, Candace was an awesome server and I love how she could recommend things on the menu. For me that is a plus, the food was very good and my husband and I will definitely be back. For anyone that has not tried it, baby get your tail down there and get you some real home cooked food.
