This is an amazing resturant. So much to do here. From playing pool to having an arcade. Full bar with a dance floor. The food is good. And the prices are even better. The only thing negative that I have to say. Is I had the Kalua Pork with cabbage. It was mostly fat. Chicken Katsu, Beef Teriyaki and the Moco Loco was good.

Visited this place today and learned they’re inside of the Village Event Center. They don’t have Island Hut signage out but the address Google shows is correct and clearly displayed on the building. The service was friendly, the vibe was good and the food was amazing for the price especially if you order the lunch special. I had the Hawaiian BBQ chicken with veggies, rice and a side of mac salad. I love being able to support family owned businesses. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was delicious! Got the Wednesday special, $12 and I’m stuffed! Mac was on point, kalua pig was ono, everything was perfect. I’ll be back

The restaurant is actually called the Village Event Center and isn’t always open to the public, found out the hard way after driving all the way out here to get my wife’s favorite type of food and driving around the parking lot looking for a building that didn’t exist because the image of the front of the restaurant isn’t at this location.

I have no idea how they’re still in business with the incredible prices and food quality and quantity you get. I’ve been a few times to grab some musubi which are amazing, but I stopped by on Friday and got their special which was a “baby bombucha” plate for $10 but the word “baby” was a total misnomer. It was way too much food for me to eat for one meal.
The best kalua pork I’ve had on the mainland and really delicious kalbi beef. That plus a musubi ran me $12 and I had to give half of it to my husband.
The only thing to be prepared for is they run on island time, so expect to wait 20 minutes for your food. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry!

This small Hawaiian restaurant is delicious. The Hawaii flavors are spot on, and the prices are great. Everything is great here. I highly recommend the spam musubi and lumpia.
The owners are very sweet and seem like they like to help in the local community, which I love.

Maybe I just haven’t developed a taste for Hawaiian food, but I wasn’t blown away. Saimin was pretty much pho with extraordinarily cheap ingredients, but a delicious, smoky broth. Beef teriyaki was on the good side of average. Pork and cabbage was salty but decent.

I got the bombucha plate lunch that included chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, kalua pork, a scoop of mac salad, and a scoop of rice. I love Hawaiian food and lived on Oahu for 8 years and I have to say this is honestly the best, most flavorful of each than I’ve ever had. I’m blown away by how delicious this place is. I’ll definitely be back. I wanna try everything in their menu now!

My only complaint was in locating the Island Hit, as there is No signage of any kind outside, indicating it’s location??? Dug the pinball and old school video games.
