This place was such a pleasant surprise and quickly stood out to me. The stylish and modern setting creates a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The cocktails are unique, well crafted, and full of flavor. The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes inspired by Greek cuisine, and everything we tried tasted amazing. On top of that, the owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. I am already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.

The food is delicious. We had Steak au poivre, yummy. The short rib taco was outstanding, as good as I ever had in New Mexico. We did the grilled octopus, which was extraordinary just outstanding. The beet salad was just perfect. The drinks were excellent. We had Jim Bean old fashion and every dinner club in Wisconsin is jealous. Our server was fantastic. I would give her service a 5 but she was working all the tables, and doing an excellent job. Seems like 5 to 6 happy hour rush, plus they have some really good daily specials. The Chef has my attention and will be back. Atmosphere is good, store front restaurant with good vibes that have nostalgic reverbs from that 1960s era. I would definitely recommend a stop in!!!

Great menu, large portions, very friendly wait staff. They have small plates & entrees. $$$. Loved the atmosphere & the music playing; all my favorite crooners, Dean Martin, Elvis, etc. Definitely worth a try. Don’t be fooled by the strip mall location.

My husband and I decided to try a new spot for date night tonight and I could not have been more impressed. We had known nothing of Annex and came in for a bite having a book cover view of what the establishment may have been and boy were we surprised. What an absolutely phenomenal dining experience! We had 9 people for a Monday night birthday dinner and couldn’t have chosen a better place. It may not look like much on the outside but inside is an absolutely beautiful place and the food was incredible.
We started with some unbelievably delicious appetizers — one of the best French Onion soups I’ve ever had, delicious Saganski, and crunchy feta cheese. Our meals were not only incredibly delicious (amazing steaks and incredible pastas) but the portions were HUGE. We could not believe the amount of food for the money.
To top it off, even though we were all too full to order dessert, the staff surprised us with a free dessert for my sister’s birthday — a huge piece of carrot cake, a turtle cheesecake slice and a chocolate cake slice — enough for everyone to have some.
Just an all around amazing meal. Incredibly friendly staff, delicious food, a great atmosphere. Absolutely check out this hidden gem in Lake in the Hills!

We were recommended this place by some friends of ours and decided to go check it out. The food was amazing and we absolutely loved it! We will for sure be coming back! Our waitress, Alex provided excellent service and made it a fun experience. We absolutely enjoyed the dinner and experience!! I got the pork chops and they were some of the best I have ever had. My wife got the Greek steak and could not stop telling me how good it was. I would have ordered desert but ran out of room. Will have to save some room next time.

When we made the reservation told them that we were celebrating our anniversary hostess was friendly and food was a mix. My husband enjoyed his Greek salad and halibut. I ordered the Reuben, which was fatty and un edible. I did appreciate that they switched out the vegetable side for me and the vegetables were delicious.
The outside front of the restaurant needs attention as there are dead outside plants in pots. Inside is tacky decor. We did enjoy the music that was kept at a minimum overall pack of atmosphere. Met the owner, who was very genuine and welcoming. Not sure that we will return after my sandwich not being edible

All four meals were outstanding, as were our drinks! I had the salmon with crab special, and it was delicious. All of the staff were extremely friendly, too. Thanks, we will see you soon…

When this place opened the food was great. Even the warm bread and dip served to everyone complimentary was delightful. At that time I had harvest salad and he had a great steak sandwich with au just dip.
Now both are not on the menu. We had Monday smash burger for 10.00 special. First. They served a burnt slice of bread. The meal was terrible. No cheddar for the burger. Just had American as a choice for yellow cheese. You’d be hard pressed to find it on the burger. Fries are like over cooked potato strings. My husband returned the entire meal. I ate half the burger. Burger King is better. I cannot recommend anything on their current menu. Unfortunate. Cause the service and atmosphere are great.
If you want a good burger go to Syrup and get theirs. They use local butcher meat and real name brand cheddar.
