I’ve been ordering some sandwiches here lately, and much better than some alternative sub places. Hot, fresh, and ready; new favorite lunch spot!

Made a mistake and ordered a hot sub when my fiance who just gave birth really wanted a cold sub, he refused to not heat the sub because “policy” and refused to give a refund so I had to purchase a second cold sub and threw the first one away, service was terrible and the male “manager” there was very rude to his own staff, this store is a joke, avoid it if you can !!

Jimmy John’s: Fast & Fresh! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jimmy John’s never disappoints with fresh, tasty sandwiches and super-fast service. The bread is always soft, ingredients are high quality, and the flavors are great. Whether dining in or getting delivery, it’s quick, easy, and delicious. A go-to for a great sub!

Ordered a wrap and it took more than 30 minutes to be made. When I entered the store, none of the employees greeted me despite looking right at me. While the wrap was good, I wouldn’t come back unless I had a lot of time to waste.

Update 2025: Unacceptable service for average food. Hilariously dumb email and note from their manager below.

We ordered five large subs (costing over $17 each), and the workers stapled a note to our box that threatened to cancel our future orders unless we called a day in advance. The note called our order a “catering” sized order.

On Jimmy John’s menu, the large subs we ordered could come with a drink and chips for a “meal deal.” We weren’t ordering party size subs that would feed an entire business and stretch across a table; we ordered from their regular menu for only five people.

I submitted a survey to Jimmy John’s before writing this review to communicate our concerns. I specifically stated that we were not happy with their response which felt threatening and very inhospitable. I rated their service and atmosphere low on that survey as I have on this evaluation because their note was clearly not what you should expect when you order meals for a family. Then, I received an email whining about how I filled out the survey. I have included a picture of their note and a.screenshot of their email (below) because they repeatedly criticized us for the size of the order. They went on to tell us that their organization is not capable of fulfilling such a “large order” without advanced notice. We didn’t even get our subs toasted. They were putting loose meat, lettuce and cheese on bread.

Although the food is okay, it’s not remotely good enough to be harassed by workers. Penn Station and Subway and Jersey Mike’s don’t complain if we put in a carryout order (just to name a few). They train their staff to handle putting meat on bread.

Additionally, prices have gone up to the point where this is no longer a reasonable value. According to their whining email, an order over $40 is what Jimmy John’s considers “catering.” Therefore, at $17 per sub, more than two people ordering a sub would be catering…? Good luck with that business model. Oh, and I noticed that if I selected drive thru, it would charge me an extra $5 instead of walking into the store to pick up my food… “Freaky Fast” became freaky greedy and whiney.

I recommend that Jimmy John’s train employees to (1) prepare a family sized meal and (2) respect customers.

I gave a middling review in the past about my sandwiches not being cut in half, which admittedly is pretty petty. I just want to say that all of my orders lately have been spot on and the people working there have been really nice to boot. Thank you. The gentleman working around 430 Today was especially nice. Great location. Great Jimmy John’s.

The Wooster Jimmy John’s sucks! We tried to order a giant sub today and we were told they were running low on bread so they couldn’t make it. The employee said he could cut the bread skinnier to make the sandwich… um NO! They eventually made two smaller subs (basically the same size as a giant, so what the heck?) The bread was stale and they didn’t even make the sandwiches correctly. Ugh!

Terrible. I ordered online and went through drive-thru to pick up. Took forever for someone to come to window. Then order was totally messed up. No chips and pickle and had an extra drink. I asked if I could add on chips and pickle. They wouldn’t until they waited in the customer behind me. No thanks. I left. Another time they forgot my sandwich. I’m done. Never again.
