I gave this location 5 stars a few months ago. Nothing about what made this location great has changed. Nice employees, good tasting breakfast food, and well-made drinks. Well, most of the drinks are made well. I don’t know what it is about the inconsistency with the quality of the matcha lattes at not just this location but across all Starbucks chains. One day you’ll get a creamy matcha latte with a nice dark green color and rich milky foam at the top. Another day you’ll get something like what’s in the two photos—a light barf color with clumps of unmixed matcha powder floating around and at the bottom of the drink. Today, my 6 dollar drink tasted like watered down milk with barely any taste of matcha and zero sweetener. I thought this wouldn’t happen anymore because of the recipe change but it’s clearly not the recipe issue. Only a handful of employees across all Starbucks locations know how to properly make the drink. You can tell when it’s made with care versus when it’s made in a rush to satisfy the drive thru time requirement. It’s a training issue and management not caring for the most of it. Too much milk, not enough matcha, and way too much ice when I specifically ask for light ice. If I ever get handed another barf toned matcha drink, I will just hand it back and ask for a refund. I know it’s going to taste bad based on its appearance, and I won’t ask to have it remade because the employee who made it clearly doesn’t know how to make it right to begin with.

Ordered a cold brew and pumpkin chai…told the barista…these are the same…she insisted the cold brew was a cold brew…to be courteous to the vehicles behind me I left…about half way through the drink I asked if I could taste tge other one…exactly the same…2 pumpkin chai’s….thanks Hennessey you need to get retrained…a cold brew should be black with the foam on top.

A solid Starbucks with a great drive thru option.
I just had a straight black coffee, it was good and quick. It was nice, bold & the temperature was a little hotter than I expected but still good for a morning cup of joe.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

What happened to the strawberries and cream drink I used to enjoy years back??? The one I got at this starbucks tasted like water!!!! No sweetness, No strawberry flavor. Even the whipped cream was watered down. How is that possible?? I tried it 2 times, same horrible taste

Consistently excellent! The drinks are always made just right, and the baristas are friendly and efficient, even during rush hours. The place is clean, cozy, and perfect for getting some work done or catching up with friends. Easily my favorite go-to coffee spot!

There’s no atmosphere in a drive-thru, but I’ve sat at this Starbucks before and the foliage around the deck makes it pleasant, despite the proximity to the freeway. Today’s server was fake-nice fake-happy and he reacted with disgust when I asked if he could take my mostly empty water cup to make room for the latte I usually tip, but not this time.
