Used to be a great place to eat..but on this night it was horrible..stale cold chips were brought out with what looked like ketchup but with no flavor, for salsa.margaritas had zero alchohol,although the signs bragged about how they use patron and the finest alchohols..when we asked the bartender if there was a mistake, he said no..so we asked if he would add some more alcohol at our expense..he refused saying it was what it was ,take it or leave!!..then the food arrived..bland,tasteless,and cold..didn’t even bring tortillas which always come with the dinner. Leaving us to just shovel in the fillings with no shells..never got any refills.then took 20 minutes to get the check after we were done…I will say..there was only one waitress that night and she was running around totally over her head trying to keep up

Early dinner before watching our niece in a play at LCC. Restaurant was very busy, but the staff did a great job. Very friendly, food was excellent…as were the Margheritas!

The bathroom was gross. It stank and there was urine everywhere. The decor was a bit strange, and didnt look very authentic. The cheese dip was cold straight from the get go. The food we ordered after, however, was really good. The portion was very large and was priced well. They were really fast at bringing our food out as well. All in all, it was an ok place to go for a cheap meal that isn’t fast food. I would probably be tempted to go to a different mexican place in the future though.

My white cheese in my chicken was so runny. The refried beans were runny. They gave me 4 tortilla but my friend didn’t get any with her meal when she was suppose to. Then got charged for them. We won’t be going back to them.
We asked for the cheese dip for chips and never got it but charged us had to have that taken off.
They didn’t come over to see if we ever needed anything we had to get there attention.
Later at home my stomach hurt so bad and was so sick all night.

salsa taste like tomato paste not a very tastefull mexican restaurant. Food was bland, feel sorry for locals that live there being there arent many choices for places to eat in the town.

This place is great! Sazon puts Las Penas to shame. The salsa is very good and has great flavor. The servers are prompt and make sure you have refills without having to ask. If you are really hungry, try the Molcajete. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and I recommend this place to everyone. The restaurant is very spacious and you don’t feel cramped it like you are sitting on top of other people. Give it a try and see for yourself.
