They just opened this shop, hard to see the shop, but you can order from the machine downstairs.
My new favorite place now
Cha-La-Thai (Original Thai Milk Tea)/ ชาเย็น
Legend Strength (Extra strong, +1 scoop of tea), 50%, Whole Milk (Original Taste)
While I liked that the dairy wasn’t as forward as other thai teas I’ve had in the area, it tasted fairly diluted. The stranger thing is why should it taste as diluted if I ordered “extra strong, +1 scoop of tea)?
My guess is either they didn’t give me the extra scoop or they’re just diluting the tea they do use.
Also, attaching a pic of my cup when the tea was finished. 2/3 or more full of ice.
Come on, for $9??

『Thoughts & Review 』
Charmed by the cute, silly-looking croc mascot, I came by to try out Cha La One during their grand opening. I was sorely surprised that their Thai tea did not hold a candle to the charisma of their branding. “Legend Strength” unfortunately left a lot of tea flavor to be desired… I’ve had bland tea but never bland Thai tea
I ordered their Original Thai Milk Tea:
• Legend Strength (Extra strong)
• Whole Milk
• 25% sweet
I appreciated that the drink wasn’t too sweet and just right for the sweetness level. They also had a BOGO promo running during their grand opening. Drinks were ready in about 10 minutes. You need to scan your order page on a terminal to pick up your order from the locker, so make sure you have your phone w/ data connection with you.
The tea flavor in the drinks were a bit watery/milky. The tea flavor is not very strong.
the concept of this place is interesting… mostly commercial kitchen spaces for takeout. it’s not somewhere you can sit down and enjoy your drink so keep that in mind.
overall for drink quality and experience for the price is just not worth it imo
